Yes, one of his albums Hot August Nights was recorded at the Greek Theatre. It was a fantastic night the place was packed even people. Up in the hills behind the theatre was teaming with people too. Free seats if you could climb up through all the brush and climb a tree to see with binoculars. LOL! I had almost all his albums. Why did I get rid of all my LPs?? The albums were such works of art.
