  • I don't think Tal's as talented or original as Isa Moskowitz, who I still think is the best vegan cook/chef out there - Tal relies on a lot of packaged meat substitutes (eg. the Gardein chicken in this dish) throughout his cookbook.. but he's certainly got some great recipes.

  • His books is really really beautiful. Can somebody please give this guy his own cooking show??!!!

  • I am still not sure about processed meat substitutes but I guess it's better than eating a real chicken.

  • I just received this book as a gift. The Tomato Bisque recipe is the best tomato soup I've ever had, even compared to restaurant soups with lots of butter and cream! This book has gotten me excited about cooking again, and I'm not even vegetarian!
