@LazerChachi Well from what I can tell it's only down one half step. Usually, artists do this so that the singer(s) can hit the higher notes a bit easier than they would in the original key. :) Trust me. I'd rather have him sing it in the key this was originally written too. Lol.

@SuperSaiyanPossums not necessarily. there is a huge difference between studio and live -- depending on the venue and sound engineers a less than quality vocal performance is merely an issue of not being able to hear yourself. just because someone has a good voice on a recording and not the same quality live doesn't automatically mean they use autotune.

I'm not saying he has a bad voice, I'm not saying I don't respect him, I'm just saying it's clear from the artifacts in the recorded version that he does use autotune in it. With no other evidence. I'm not saying it because of the change between live and recorded, I'm saying it because the tonal qualities of a significantly autotuned voice are obvious to a careful listener.

Quality of voice on individual performances depends on how much you warmed up your voice, if you can hear yourself and if you used your voice too much in talking and shouting.
