  • @vaaern @vaaern I used proce55ing to create the visual aspect. Each arm is really just a point that describes a circle and then the program just draws a line from the centre to the point in each frame, and a new one is made by clicking the mouse. It's frequency of rotation is randomised.

  • @vaaern Supercollider is used for the sound and proce55ing communicates with supercollider via OSC (there's tutorials about) sending values for speed (relative to a point in the center at the bottom of the screen) and position (for panning) etc so that the playback speed and panning of the sample is altered. Each arm 'controls' its own sample. These are both great programs and I recommend having a play :) Thanks for watching!
