@luvumoret Yes, that is true but the reality is that the majority of artists like B, Mariah etc. do not always write their own material. Ryan Tedder wrote Halo. Jay-Z did a remake of "Forever Young." Things like this happen. The fact that Charice is willing to entertain this aspect of the equation, is a credit to her abilities. The Filipinos are a mixture of "pacific islanders" (i.e., Native? Hawaiins, Samoans, Tongans, etc.), "melanesians" (i.e., Papua New Guineans and Fijians), and "east asians" (i.e., as in Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc.). It is for this reason that they are a little less intelligent than the "east asians," which also makes them poor economically, but makes up for it by being better singers, athletes, having bigger dicks, and more bigger and rugged hands than "east asians." @luvumoret Yes, that is true but the reality is that the majority of artists like B, Mariah etc. do not always write their own material. Ryan Tedder wrote Halo. Jay-Z did a remake of "Forever Young." Things like this happen. The fact that Charice is willing to entertain this aspect of the equation, is a credit to her abilities. Btw she just released her new CD that is doing extremely well in Japan & is expected to do equally well elsewhere. You really should give the kid a break.

@luvumoret Sorry, but I respectfully disagree w/ ur opinion especially since I've seen B, Celine & Charice live.I will defer to Charice's voice any day of the week. As for singing other ppls songs, this vid was done when she was 16.Her debut CD was released when she was 18, & she did sing her own songs in concert bashes.When it comes to gigs like this though, she sings what she is told. On DF concerts she sings DF songs that he wrote for others.If she argued, she wud be viewed as a prima donna.

In this regard, I cannot see this little girl trying to impose her wishes with DF. It is just not going to happen. This is the guy who refused to write our 2010 Cdn. Olympic anthem cuz he was asked to submit his music w/ others. No doubt DF is talented, but he does have an ego & he himself admits it.

@luvumoret when she is out doing her own shows she sings her own songs and sometimes a remix of her favorites. She mainly sings these songs while she is with David foster. And most of the songs she sings with him he wrote. The songs were only popularized by the artist. To be clearly honest I think the song writers should get the most credit for a hit
