I just accidentally pressed "Plastic Man" bu Seether. Holy cripes what a diference. The Kinks draw you in to a cool joke with some hot music. That Seether thing was like a well of self-pity repleat with gravelly five o'clock shadow like so much of so-called "alternative". This song was the first one that made me realise Ray´s talent as a songwriter. To me he is the best songwriter in the world along with Ronnie Lane, Townshend and Robert Hunt (Greatful Dead).
