Also the story is really interresting and engaging, everything that happens in the movie has some effect on the characters and the story as a whole.

I saw this movie and it really rocks!!! Effects, elements of humour, sad moments, conversations between the players, everything is great made. I can let you sure this is not gonna be another movie disappointment. Go to grab this movie now on kòòkica.
And I'm glad that director decided to remember that "show don't tell" is only really a Koan, not a rule, because everyone in my theatre applauded at the end so maybe we'll get more movies like this, because I love stories like this. I will see it again on kòòkica definitely.
Fantastic film, one the edge of my seat, and thrilling to watch. A great storyline/idea for a film. I found it on kòòkica last night. The ending was also great and rather frustrating it has to be said.
There seems to be a bit of negative feeling towards Affleck and the 'hollywood' production of this film (by people who haven't seen it!). I also had that feeling before watching it ('oh another typical hollywood thriller with the same old actors in it') but just watched it and it was top notch. Held me all the way. Have a new found love for Crowe who was terrific, but the real surprise to me was Affleck who was awesome!
The British had a great movie series "State of Play".I'm thinking One of the most beautiful actresses,one of the best actresses,R.Crowe.But this looks like a crappy American film AND its got that Ben Affleck who will mess up most movies by just being in the film.
The original BBC series has Bill Nighy. That is the reason I say the BBC series was better than this movie with conviction without having seen this movie. Props to Hellen Mirrin's acting chops and all but...c'mon...you don't replace Bill Nighy.

I have just watched the superb BBC production, and plan to see this as a comparison. I have to say however, that while I admire Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren, I really don't see how they can compete with John Simm and the magnificent Bill Nighy. I also can't imagine that Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams could come close to David Morrissey or Kelly Macdonald.

just saw it. Damn awesome movie. It's only tedious if you are slow to catch on the hints and clues given, which are a lot. great plot, great acting, must watch.

I have just watched the superb BBC production, and plan to see this as a comparison. I have to say however, that while I admire Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren, I really don't see how they can compete with John Simm and the magnificent Bill Nighy. I also can't imagine that Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams could come close to David Morrissey or Kelly Macdonald.

I'm myself a huge fan of stanley kubrick and quentin tarantino. I loved pulp fiction, and even his new movies Unglourious Basterds it is awesme.
And stanley kubrick is without a doubt one of the best director.

I haven't seen this movie yet, because I know the are going to just slaughter it. HOW do you compact six hours into two? Just from the trailer, I can see that they took out SO MUCH of the original story that it's barely recognisable.
