when you do uppercuts while they jump in like 0:38 , can't you get another hit in? like in Street fighter when you do a srk and they jum in and you can do a ex hadoken or ultra. can't you get them with a special move or somthin after that type of uppercut?

I use these combos. You sure use your X in a combo.

Jump in FP, FK,FK,BK~teleport, shocker, B+FK,FP,BP~ electric fly.

Now to input X in there.

Jump in FP, FK,FK,BK~teleport, shocker, B+FK,FP~ X this does about 49%. :o.

I also use this alot B+FK,FP,BP, dash shocker, B+FK,FP,BP~ electric fly. Also,

B+FK,FP,BP, dash shocker, B+FK,FP~ X this does I think 44%.

@Maharoba Noob is actually much higher than Quan Chi. Noob may not have fancy combos but it's his enormous bag of tricks that keep him up there. Quan Chi doesn;t have great tools and many characters have moves that just plain ol' beat out Quan's. His skull-ball is one of the slowest projectiles with medium recovery, making it useless against some of the better ones like Kano's, His sky-drop is very punishable on reaction and his ground blast comes out too slow to trade clean.

Noob's 'enormous bag of tricks' is hardly worth anything. If you have a teleport or a counter (Smoke being the biggest motherfucker here) Noob is worthless. His tele slam's priority is garbage unless your timing is amazing and is unsafe. All of his clone throws are unsafe unless you're all the way on the other side of the screen, and even then, you can just jump over them. His tele slam is slow as fuck and his combos are garbage. I don't see your point.

@Maharoba The point I'm trying to make is that Noob is an overall better character than Quan imo. Quan's inability to punish most of the cast hurts him. It's hard for him to even get a clean trade without being at a disadvantage. And while it's true that Noob's shadows arent terribly safe close up, it's not how he's supposed to be played. Noob at his best is using his portals and shadows to keep the opponent away from him until he can find an opening.

@Maharoba If hit with a portal, Noob gets a free combo on you and can knock you back full screen. His ghostball is also a lot better than Quan's skull imo, simply for the fact that it removes your opponents ability to block and if enhanced, rearranges your opponents buttons. Opens up another combo opportunity. His shadows are also unable to be reflected by Nightwolf which is a plus. Both Noob and Quan may not be high up on tiers but I see Noob being Mid/Low-Mid while Quan is Low-Mid/High-Low.

Sektor shouldn't be in the pits with combo heavy characters. Seb should be zoning with Sektor with b.1 and waiting for openings by using rockets. Also you should NEVER use his 12 b1 combo unless for whiffed teleports/punishes, it has too little range and is completely ineffective.

Oh well, it's early not everyone will understand mechanics this early in the game.

@TheRiddl37 All of his specials are useful. His flame thrower works well as an anti-air. TP is great for punishing and combos. Missiles aren't as useful against teleporters, Raiden especially. Seb played well, he used his missiles a bit but he didn't use the seeker missiles at all. Also I don't think he was maximizing his damage on combos.
