  • Im suing Citizens Bank in small claims court...980.00 of overdraft fees...

  • Fuck ALL big Banks!!! Pull your money OUT OF... Citi, BOA,Citizens,HSBC, ETC ETC....They do not have your best interest in mind...Bastards, We should of let them FAIL...If they had your best interest in mind there would not be any "fine print"

  • Just switch to another bank you fucking whiney losers.

  • FUCK BANK OF AMERICA

  • @darkangelextra That's Right!

  • I love these pompous pieces of shit who say: "It's your own fault for not reading the fine print dumbass!" To all of you condescending geniuses out there: You're right, I didn't read the fine print. I just assumed, like a logical fucking human being, that if I didn't have sufficient funds in my account to pay for something with my debit card the register would reject the transaction. Why didn't paper checks just overdraft your account back in the day? Why did they bounce instead?

  • @fooschnikens Dumbass. You can cross out the fine print. You do realize that don't you? Or do you just stick to hoping and praying they're not fucking you within the fine print? Don't be thick!

  • I am tired of people complaining about the banks,if people would just stop useing their services the banks would simply just go away.I am 39 years old and have never had a bank account and will never have one.Stop complaining and just stop giving the banks your money simple as that!!!

  • BOFA is still suing me for $500.00 of bank fees from 4 years ago!

  • Red Media You rock! No bank fees!!!!!! They suck ,suck, suck!!!!!!! Bank of America needs an economic collapse of their own! Take your money out before they do it for you. If you take it out it goes in your pocket, if you leave it there they take it out and it goes into the CEO's $10,000.00 AN HOUR pay check!

  • cracks me up how people blame the bank cuz they can't manage their effin money.....it's ur own damn responsibility to keep track of your balance, not the bank....be an adult 'n get a clue....dipshits...

  • You're naive if you think the bank doesn't help CAUSE overdrafts just so they can charge you for them.

  • @ThaUnprofessional Fuck you mother fucker. You probably work for Bastards of America. Why the fuck would they automatically opt people into overdraft protection? Back in the day if you wrote a check you couldn't cover, IT BOUNCED. Therefore, if you try to use your debit card for a purchase you can't cover, THE TRANSACTION SHOULD NOT GO THROUGH. That's why people keep credit cards douche bag; to cover transactions they can't cover with their checking account. You're a cock sucker

  • yes EVERYONE close your account and go one step further, join a local CREDIT UNION where your money stays in your community and you get dividends and help make decisions, not just Bend over America, but every other too-big-to-not-fail corporate bank that owns our government! watch out WellsFargotmymoney and Chaseaftermymoney we are come'n to get ya!

I am a grandmom from Texas and I am fighting back!

  • hey you know what everyone?

theres a option to not use the overdraft in your account. its in large bold print when you fill out the paperwork, its even in the banking options menu online.

I think the reason the economy is in the slammer is because of the people in this comment box. that just assume.

Don't Assume, ask. Assuming makes you a ass, and gets you a 12,000$ credit bill.

  • I went $1.70 over on my checking at BOA and they charged me $54.00 for it. They then charged me $22.00 in excessive use withdrawls from my checking account.

$76.00. $22.00 TO ACCESS MY OWN MONEY. TOTAL BULLSHIT BANK OF AMERICA.

  • I Hate all Banks, the are all crooks with their bank fees!

  • Just in from BOFA collection $447.00 from years ago!

  • When you say certain things to a collector, the number comes off their list (computer), and the calls stop. When the account gets reassigned to another agency, the number has already been removed.

  • Don't pay! But don't put up with collection calls, either! My method stops all calls for good! I was a CA manager for years and know the REAL way to STOP ALL CALLS.

  • Walmart prepaid visa card works at all atms and online.

    NO BANK FEES!

  • Bank of America is CRIMINAL. Besides all the things they do to credit cards, they are the MAIN PERPETRATOR of Foreclosure Fraud, throwing people out of their homes by forging the documents. DEMAND that your bank produce YOUR ORIGINAL mortgage note with your "wet ink" signature (a copy is insufficient, just like a copy of a dollar bill is not a dollar). If the bank cannot produce YOUR original signed note, they can be sued for the mortgage amount +3 times the amt. They've been caught FORGING.

  • I wouldn't trust paypal either.

  • I don't have any bank accounts, I use walmart $3.00 fee to cash checks and do money orders and paypal for other transactions.

  • Frankly I'm tired of banks double-dipping on overdraft charges and of conveniently re-arranging the order of deposits and debits to make sure they have a reason for an overdraft charge when there shouldn't be one. I was frustrated with the banker and grabbed my paperwork and got up from the desk. I didn't realize she still had ahold of my debit card which she promptly shredded before I had even left the branch. She said she did it because I left it on the counter, I say she did it out of spite.

  • It's not just BOA that is doing this. I just had a go-around with 1st Convenience Bank about 3 overdraft charges tacked onto my account. A waterbill that was paid over a month ago had dropped off the pending and disappeared, then it just now reappeared today as pending again. In the meantime I had paid my cell phone bill with what I assumed was the correct available balance. They charged $34.95 while it was still pending, then another $69.80 after it posted. I got them to remove the first $34.95

  • I received $435 in fees. I didn't even have a checking account nor a debit card! I have new vid explaining my recent experience how bankers get bonuses for tacking on fees. The more fees the tack on the bigger the bonuses.

  • I have posted this video at piggybankblog com which is for all those who have been abused by Bank of destroying America

  • Bank of America raised my interest rate up to 28%, stabbed me in the back with many of those $30 fees, etc...

SO I CHARED BANK OF AMERICA WITH A $7000 fee...

Yeah, the remaining amount that was due on my credit card. I just don't have the nerve to support a corporation that punishes Americans for trusting their bank in good faith and stealing money from Citizens who worked hard to earn their money. -Do you???

  • boycott bof a in any way possible

  • You think you have it bad roughly $60 in england...

  • They make 1.8 billion in over draft fee's a year

  • "steal from the poor and give to the rich"- BoA

  • BOA just decided to get rid of overdraft fees. in july, your debit card will be declined if you do not have the funds in your account.

  • Yeah BOA just robbed me for $350.00 as well. I'm switching to a small credit union and I recommend everyone do the same. The longer we stay with "bigbank" and let them rob us the more they will feel entitled take from us.. It time to let them know its is us the consumer with the power and without OUR hard eared money they would not exist. So find your local Credit union and stop this NOW!! or just switch to cash..

  • KEEP YOUR OWN MONEY

or let the BANK STEAL your money!!!

  • 9 months on here....2 k views.....15 comments?...7 ratings?.......CENSORSHIP !!!...Youtube needs some competition !!!!!!

  • Just be careful to not use a Visa card for your virtual credit.

Visa, formerly BankAmericard, created by Bank Of America, is every bit as insidious and morally bankrupt as B of A (if not more)

  • hey Andyfrom texas you said a high penalty for spending more than you have is unfair? In the state of California if you litter. Even a slurpee cup on the sidewalk the fine is a flat $1000. By your logic we should do what boycott the California? No? 1) its not wrong 2) its PUNITIVE. meaning its designed to hurt so bad your rmember it and don't do it again.

  • @abasej10845678 ...wtf?....sounds like u work 4 them or something......

  • fuck bank of america :)

  • Yes Fuck Bank of America. They took $280 from me last month because of some pending transaction that were pending even after a whole fucking week. I just closed it and opened an account with Chase. They aren't better, but still don't charge overdraft fees until the transaction is cleared.

  • I agree. At least you are offering alternatives. Government doesn't like it when you cash your check at Walmart.. They can't track your transactions. Paying $3.00 for a prepaid credit card is a good option. As far as obsessive overdraft charges are concerned, people need to look at those terms before they accept a checking account. Also overdrafting was never intended to be a short term unsecured loan. It was suppose to be a penalty or a fine.

  • I also agree that overdraft charges were never meant to be short term unsecured loans. But to put it in terms my grandmother would have used, "two wrongs don't make a right." Thats like justifying a $10,000 fee for returning a movie three days late. The fees aren't proportionate to the costs actually incurred by whatever actions causing the fee. There has to be consumer protections. They have protections for banks when people write hot checks, it's called criminal charges and restitution.

  • You're right when you say, "It was suppose to be a penalty or a fine." What you may not know is that some of these banks have policies that increase the fines one might get by default. This is what's wrong. When you think you have 10 bucks on you credit card and you try to buy $10.50 in food, the card gets declined. With BOA the card is approved, you get charged $39 for the $0.50 and then your told that they did you a favor and saved your from embarrassment.

  • Call the bank and ask to cancel overdraft protection...I just did myself!

Call Senator Chris Dodd and show your support for his bill that will stop this shit from happening. He will limit the amount of Overdraft fees to 1 per month, 6 per year. Overdraft fees must be proportionate to the cost of processing an overdraft charge. His number is 202-224-2823. Call and show your support. Google Chris Dodd's overdraft legislation for more information. Pass this message on...post it wherever you can.

  • I don't fully agree with Chris Dodd's bill. I think people will take advantage of that system. Overdrafts are not intended to interest free, unsecured loans. You SHOULD be penalized for an overdraft. However, I think it is wrong for a bank to run the largest check first, then the smaller checks last.. Then charge you a chain of several overdrafts in a row. Had they ran the smaller checks first, there would have only been one overdraft. Banks are corrupt. But Overdrafts are justifiable charges.
