What no one tells in the legend is this. 3wks after he was FIRST seen in an area called TNT, Wildlife experts captured an oversized crane in a shut down building about half a mile from where he was claimed to be. I remember when they caught it, in the paper it said here is the moth man. Also, when the silver bridge fell, the story of mothman being there was not anywhere to be said, that came MUCH later when he started getting popular

Umm, about the airplane thing.. The reason why people have to be seated is to be safe, as for the small windows imo the big windows are dangerous since you're so high in the sky. The big windows might break.You have to be safe in order to be on an airplane. Duh.

@atlastpeace the sky is only prohibited by the government so that no terrorists can fly around wherever they want, and the reason for having small windows so that the air pressure can't shatter them, and we have to stay seated because the plane might hit a turbulance and shake, therefore wanders getting hurt...

We got a closer look at it than this picture. We were sitting at a red light when it flew past our car (on the driver's side) It was flying fast and parallel with the street light. It was daylight @6pm. It didn't have a head even with its chest with red eyes. It had a head like a human only it seemed to be at least 8 feet in length. I wouldn't want to see it again. I wonder why it allowed us to see it in the first place.

@Tallyock It was because John A Keel, writer of the book, The Mothman Prophecies was a big fan of DC Comics (most notably the "Batman" Series) But couldn't use the word "Batman" (even though it bares more of a resemblence to a bat more than a moth) so Mr. Keel decided to call it "Mothman" for his newspaper article which he saw the mothman himself when in Point Pleasant, the interview was on the radio at one point it's here on this site, it's called "The Mothman Prophecies".

I've seen the mothman already, not exactly up close, i wont forget it, i let my dog out around 1 in the morning before going to bed and i heard this loud crack like a large branch in a tree and saw this monstrous being wings spread with red yellowish eyes.
