Where is the clear guard for the top? You know in case of kick back and shield the user from getting flying debris in the face and such? Just a suggestion next time. Concept is right on though. Nice work, again just add a shield next time. 1/2 plexi or lexan works well.
i dont speak english very goog so sorry if i have some mistakes thanks to show how to make it, i will make it becuase i like to do by myselft all the things that needs my house i all ready have some tools and this table is going to help me a lot to do my projects thank you so much
may I ask how do you switch it on? did you make some wiring?, one more thing, what is the benefit of the box you made for the saw? and how do change the saw disk?
I am planning to fix a safety switch for this table saw. I am using the switch from the power extention at the moment.
The box has few benefits, it supports the table top as a stand, stops dust moving every where and it covers the entire machine under the table. Therefore, I can operate the machine without worrying about moving parts underneath and work in less dusty environment.
I can reach the circular saw easily from underneath the box, and then follow the standard steps. Thanks
@SanModelMaker Glad you agree :) Rereading my comment, perhaps it sounded a bit harsh. I just found myself cringing a it watching you feed that wood in there!
wow you still have fingers !!! amazing

This is a perfect project for me. I am thinking of making the table saw and router table using the same enclosure. It's a space saver also.

Found it quite interesting but would like to know as suggested by SSRacing UK how to attach a riving knife/splitter to it.

I built something similar, only my saw has a riving knife/splitter, helps prevent kick back, nice neat job though.

Use a push stick!! What are you doing? your technique looks horridly unsafe.

@technologeekery ,
Thanks for the valuable comment. I do agree the push stick is the safest approach and i advise anyone else to use it.

Circular saws scare the bejeezus out of me. Maybe it was all those James Bond type evil villain films and cartoons I grew up with.

good job.
I think I will also make a table saw from my circular saw.

@SanModelMaker I've made it couple of days ago.
It's not perfect but it works pretty good.
