Mine has 209,000 miles and running strong! Never broke down or anything only repair is the head gasket cracked! But other than that she runs like brand new every day :)
@johndeere6780 the 4.3 V6 was the first motor with "swirled" cylinder heads...creating a vortex in the combustion chamber. that motor debued in 1985, but put in these blazers in 1988. the vortec engines in trucks debued in 1996.
