Hey Bob, yes, it came out of Mass, has to be the same bike! that explains the ? on the tank...hahaha I found an original paint tank for it, looks better now, and this past fall I set a rotary partially streamlined landspeed record on it, a blistering 82.5mph! :D
Did this bike come out of New England? There was a fellow who worked at Northeast Cycle Salvage back in the 80's who had one of these, also with a question mark painted on the tank. He bet me I couldn't tell him the manufacturer. Easiest $5 I ever made! Bob B
@GypsyTom58 You apparently don't know how far you've fallen down the ladder of the motorcycling world when you criticize this motorcyclist - on any bike - little man. My guess is you're just a fair-weather rider, and a poor one at that. (By the way, Doug, neat bike.)

I have a cool girlfriend, she likes old bikes. Im not worried about impressing ladies. I'd rather ride stuff you dont see everyday.

yeah, they sorta have a guzzi look to them. Hercules were made in Germany, & were sold as DKW in Europe
