Let's consider FDIC. He assumes that without that insurance in place people would still rely on the banks as they do now. That is, they would deposit their money in the bank.
Yes people could do their own research and still be screwed. Books are "cooked" often and it would only take one reported intent to deceive case to cause a run on the banks.

Typical Lawmaker....I can't talk about anything else I have to focus on running for election. These law makers who are suppose to be working for their citizens, spend all their time running for re-election. Like Mrs Clinton, how much senate work did she do during her 3 years running for the presidency.

It's OK Pete, I've got you covered in the market. Here's the update on Gold and the Dollar folks, since I have been calling those bad-boys pretty well for a while now.
Gold got spanked again today. She's down about 7-8% for the month, with the average gold stock losing about 14% in the same period.
Now I AM going to tell you I told you so, mostly because I did tell you so.
Back on July 1 when gold lost 4% I told you people to NOT ride it down, because it in fact would most likely....(cont')

(cont') to decay unless it could regain the 50ma. I personally was short already. It tried over the following week to do so and failed. My call at the time was a drop to around 1100 - the daily 200ma. That number is sitting around 1120 at present. We are in the ballpark of where I would start to watch it for a rebound. I would certainly NOT be trying to catch any falling knife here. You've got enough time to grab this one again, and as I said at the time, there were far better charts out there.

....as for King Dollar, the DXY is sitting at 82, its support and the 200ma. Look kids, it's as simple as the Gold chart was/is. Go short if we fail, go long if we hold. Switch if you get whip-sawed as it happens. It's not like you're going to take a 10% hit......well maybe some people will, but YOU should not.
So to you Fundamental people out there that took the gold ride down-town, stop being fools and start treating it like you should anything else and trade it based on Technicals.

That about sums it up Pete. I am always glad to help your people hold on to their money, something very few (well none that I know) brokers seem to able to do for their clients. When it comes to making money in the markets, the fundamentals don`t mean shit. You should be able to go long or short anything at will, or your trading objectivity is out the window along with your profits.

Sean Hannity cares about one thing. Preserving the Republican establishment. He has no interest in reforming it, or in small government. The small government Hannity wants is small on Democrats, that's it.
