just a little curious because i've been pondering for quite awhile, when you aim in a nodmgspread server, do you aim slightly to the left to make the meatshot successful to compensate where the shells are coming out from? or just center? cause its too fast for me to catch >.<

@lLelouch It's only projectiles that follow the path of the viewmodels. Bullets come out from the center, you'll do the most damage by aiming at the center of the enemy (unless you're a sniper of course).

I'm not Carnage, but I can say that if the Scout jumps, be becomes way more predictable in the eyes of a skilled Soldier. The Soldier can shoot at the landing location and if the Scout cannot confuse him with a jump/doublejump, he is pretty much dead.

1v1 Scout v Soldier is pretty even on open fields, where the Scout can weapon heckle and avoid Rockets, but the smaller the space is, the better the Soldier will be.

@ninijacob uncharged headshot is 150 damage to anyone. Fully charged headshot is 450, enough to take out an overhealed heavy. So if you headshot a soldier without much of a charge, he'll be around 50 health, give or take based on overheal. Bust out the smg and finish him off.

@ninijacob well the reload cooldown for the sniper rifle and the aim of a noscope is kinda hard, so smg would be the faster kill in most situations. if you're talking about the snipers quickswitching after every shot, thats because of a habit back in old tf2 where quickswitching after a sniper rifle shot would be quicker than vice-versa, does that make any sense

@DeusExKiran Instead of trying to find the "perfect sensitivity", just go on an empty server and aim at a spot on a wall. Then snap to another spot on the wall and fire. That should give you a good idea where to start. Pick something round in the ballpark and then STICK WITH IT. You'll never get intuitive with it if you keep switching.

@eePhasE dpi = dots per inch. it is a measure of how far you have to move your mouse for there to be a "dot" which is when your mouse reacts. It is basically the same as sensitivity. Increasing the dpi makes your mouse more sensitive and vice versa.

I lol'd at the people here who think dpi has anything to do with precision. What settings that really matter on gaming are windows sensitivity (should always be at the middle, 5) and acceleration (or in other words; the thing that fucks up your aim.) DPI simply changes the distance you need to move your mouse for turning a certain degree in the game, it has absolutely nothing to do with the pixels being scanned and thus accuracy. A decent mousepad will make much bigger difference than DPI.
