@themadcro don't be overly concerned...it's from the first movie meaning it's not canon, meaning it's not realistic, meaning the Kikyo you see is really NOTHING like the actual Kikyo Rumiko Takahashi created in her manga :)

Okay in my opinion when it comes to jealousy with the Kagome/InuYasha/Kikyo love triangle they always say that Kagome was jealous.. When in reality they were jealous of one another. Why else would Kikyo try and get rid of Kagome.. Because she was jealous.. And why else would Kagome always get upset when InuYasha went to look for Kikyo? Because she was jealous.. So in my opinion they are both equal to and to be techinical they are the same person. Just a little different.

Honestly, this is one of those situations where everybody loses in a way. Kikyo, InuYasha and Kagome all lost in this three-way fight for love. Kikyo forfeited her life, InuYasha will always ache for what could've been and Kagome is caught in the crossfire, unable to withdraw.

Are they airing new episodes of inuyasha or is it still just re-runs!! Coz i LOVE everyone in inuyasha heck im 12 and iv been watchen it since i was like 9 mby 8!! And it would just b awzomee if they started airing neww episodes!!! And did they make a movie of inuyasha ?!?!?! (:

I know people hate Kikyo but hey, I see her and Kagome as the same person, I know Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo but still they are technically one of the same. And Besides think of it this way haters of Kikyo, there would be no Kagome without Kikyo. so everyone who hates Kikyo should know, technically you would be hating Kagome to. and also Kagome wouldn't have been born.

I feel bad for Kikyo... but shes dead. its as simple as that. You shouldnt claim a man from a woman if ur dead. and Kikyo didnt love Inuyasha.. if you love a person you want the best for them... you'd never trick them into going to the depths of hell with you, and you'd never stop them from being happy with someone else. if I were to die tomorrow, id tell the person I love to live happily and find another. not come back as a ghost and ruin everything for everyone.

I love Kagome to death its true, but people need to lay off kikyou she chose to die with inuyasha, then she was forced back into the world of the living, even though she will never belong, and on top of that the guy she died for is still alive and with someone else. Her story is truly sad, and although I may not agree with some of the things she has done kikyou has a right to feel the way she does!!

I'm not a fan of Kikyo but I can see ur point of view, her story is a sad one.
I've always been a bit confused about the anime movies. I'm currently reading and watching inuyasha(bit of a mix) but I don't know when to watch the movies. After I've finnished the manga/anime or somewhere in the middle?

true2. if you think about it, kagome would've ended up an ordinary girl if it wasn't for kikyo and her self sacrifice. don't get me wrong, i love kagome, but if kikyo hadn't had the jewel burned along with her body kagome would've been just kagome and not the reincarnation of kikyo. although,sometimes i do wish kikyo had just stayed dead, but then again, there wouldn't be an interesting love triangle if it was just inuyasha ang kagome. it would be a tad boring.

I used to really hate Kikyo. Long story short, it all changed when I saw the episode "Tragic Love Song Of Destiny." Part 1 and Part 2. It really changed my view on Inuyasha and Kikyo. ^^ But anyways, great vid!

I use to kinda hate kikyo but I don't anymore... I just feel touched by her tragic love story ... how her and inuyasha were tricked into hating eachother by naraku :/ I'm a big kagome fan but it's annoying sometimes when she asks too many questions or states the obvious... kikyo on the other hand is too quiet and her voice sounds a little creppy sometimes haha but I want inuyasha with kagome rather than kikyo

Honestly, this is one of those situations where everybody loses in a way. Kikyo, InuYasha and Kagome all lost in this three-way fight for love. Kikyo forfeited her life, InuYasha will always ache for what could've been and Kagome is caught in the crossfire, unable to withdraw.
Its such a bittersweet story, really.

I'm not a big fan of Kikyo personally but I feel kinda bad for her somethimes. First of all she died to protect something that she thought her lover stole from her. Second of all she can't be with the one she loves (or atleast without killing him) Third of all everytime she does get with Inuyasha Kagome comes and ruins it for her (not that I hate Kagome I love her) So people should stop bashing on her so much. ^.^
