@EarthObliderator I actually did start over again. I don't know exactly what causes this glitch, but there seems to be an event in the game that resets all the game's flags.

Well I hate to say it, but I don't think you're getting it in this file anytime soon. If you really want to play past this part, you'll have to start a new file, and try to use the island shores (by that I mean going from actual inland to the beach areas) as little as possible, because I think that may have something to do with the glitch.

@aaronburnsyou It's to do with when you decide to get the battery. You can't get it after the whole event is over, but if you get it before you catch/defeat drowzee, i think it will work.

You have to complete the Crystal Onix event, and then talk to the guy who sent you on that same event in the first place.

puh it was hard but i did it like that: i copied the sav file to vba and activated the cheat there and got the generatot after that i copied it back to my ipod touch and it works i had already 7 hours gameplay and im happy that it still works...

Follow the steps to fix it.

1.Click the cheats section on your visualboyadvance WITH pokemon orange currently being played.

2. Click the cheats list (Second one down) and click gameshark.

3. copy and paste this code 4B5B552A0429A69B onto the cheat code section and click ok. Click ok again, and the cheats window should disappear. Save and reload the game and enter a building then come out.

4. Go onto your PC and withdraw the GENERADOR (Battery).

guys it turns out that its nota glitch the original scheme of the game was to go to the building with the generator BEFORE u go and help the lil kids brother and go into crystal cave. if u go and talk to the lil kid before goin to the generator then the scheme is ruined and the game wont allow you to get the beattery. Trust me i just had the problem a couple of hours ago but then i tried this and it worked!

actually that code doesnt work...this is the working one... 4B5B552A0429A69B The battery will appear in your pc as generador(we can infer it means battery in spanish)this should solve your problem... I got this code from the creator of the game on the thread from which it was released and I used it myself, and if it doesnt work be sure to use a master code(I had an AR master code activated)

If you mean you can't get the battery, then you have to restart your game until it's there. If you already have the battery, you have to give it to one of the reporters.

Well there was a glitch that caused some events to happen a 2nd time, such as he inability to leave the main Island until talking to Tracey in the pokemon center, and one of those events happens to be the Cassidy & Butch one, and I think that's when the battery disappears.
