jose gonzales already covered it in this style so it wasn't particularly good. and the singing just wasn't as good.

surprisingly the guitar was actually pretty nice, but i don't think it fits the song as well as the simpler gonzales one - in this song it was a little too upbeat and "strummy". it almost sounded folkish. when this song should sound a lot more subdued and gentle imo.

it would have been a good cover if it wasn't a copy of gonzales, but he already did it better.

you ever see those people who always think they're so awesome by saying things like "The original was the best..this just sucks" kind of trash? Most of them have massive egos, and I'll bet my nuts they think they're original at most they do. The Knife, the first..was an awesome electronic tune steeped in meaning that one can not only dance to, but feel. Jose, slowed it down, and intensified the feeling factor. Ellie, delivered the same as Jose..with a little added feminine comfort. ALL GREAT!

Personally i feel this is the best verse for a few reasons. Firstly it beats the original as i feel,even though i like all versions musically, i feel it didnt match the lyric. Secondly it beats jose's as even though the guitar is sublime in it, i feel it is too monotonous and can get boring hence why this is the best as the composition matches the words and also her voice is amazing. Lastly because i have the biggest crush known to man on Ellie :P
