  • The end of Mark is general thought (by people who are open to such ideas anyway) to be a later addition though.

  • @Eyedunno . Right if you open to accpeting it as something other then perfectly true.

Without the end of mark we are left with the women saying nothing to no one about the jesus's tomb, this would add another contradiction to the resurrection storys.

And if the bible can be added to, it opens up a can of worms.

  • i find most Judeo/Xtian/Muslims are dishonest in ALL these discussions where they attempt to frame things more philosophically - Hoping that no one will notice that the only god they are referring to is Yahweh. It's transparent and comic how little they recognize their God has been rebranded as needed as times change to get asses in pews and pennies in plates.

  • ...also I want to hear more of what you say --- but you mumble...speak a little too fast and don't enunciate enough!

llittle bit louder, slower please :D

  • also you have the cutest puppy ever.

  • @CityzenJane Thanks , Finally someone complimented Bubu.

  • @gusb232 Thats really funny - we have a bichon I call DooDoo (her name is Moxie... but after many iterative and small changes it's now DooDoo ) - And the donkey has gone from Gabby to Wonky-D and so it goes..

On the honesty thing... I would say that's true for folks that are not arguing on YT.

But for the rest of them they know full well the little hat trick they are trying to play...it's dishonest.

  • @CityzenJane Yeah I know, I mumble when Im nervious i guess.

I sound clear to myself when I im editing, Then later I come back And, Wow, What language am I speaking.

  • @gusb232 "D Slow down, breathe, smile...( I kinda do the same thing... mouth always playing catch up to the brain...)

  • @CityzenJane Thankx for the criticisms next time I might try a glass of wine as well.

  • @CityzenJane 'i find most Judeo/Xtian/Muslims are dishonest' Most of the time I think they do not realize this and are just being dishonest with themselves.

And Its difficult for them to see something so simple.

If I ask What presupposition allows them to judge YHWH is god. I usually get the most monty python responses.

  • Cool video,

You, like most of us who gave video responses, saw how hypothetical these questions are, and the choice of wordings that was used to convey the question.

P.S. is that a Drug Crazy book?

  • Thanks

Yup 'Drug Crazy' by Mike Gray.

    I Highly reccomend it.

  • They ask you to determine what evidence you need to have faith in their god, but evidence and faith are mutually exclusive, and they have no evidence themselves. Faith with evidence is not faith...faith is a conviction to a belief that is independent of any other factors.

  • Well I dont think they are mutually exclusive, I can see how someone can have some poor evidence and then blind Themselves with faith based excuses as to why so much other evidence contradicts thier beliefs.

Even Hearsay and conjecture are types of evidence and christians do have on that their side.

  • I love this. They want YOU to provide THEM with an argument that would convince YOU of something you think is incorrect...

    Huh?

  • The only religion wich has scientific facts and predicted things that have happened/is happening/and will hapen

Is Islam, look it up and you will find that this is true.

    God is great!/Allahu Akbar!

  • 1. shouldnt god know?

    2. no

    3. no and no

    4. no way, never ... every christian I ever met was an SOB

    5. no, my "atheism" is based on the fact there is no evidence for a god thing

  • Great answers!

You answer for number three was interesting. I personally don't see any point of a reward in an after life either or a relationship with a God, like a lot of Christians talk about. I think if any good things come along, it will be rewards in the present life. And, if there is a God or force out there, I don't think it can be anything like us humans imagine it to be.

  • @HaleyMary

    Thanks

Right a 'god' may exist but why assume is must your concept of 'God'.

I think most Theist simply posit as a first assumtion that YHWH or Allah...

is God then count the hits and ignore the misses.

  • Thanks for the response.

On question 4 I wasn't meaning it as a veiled argument. I realize that all humans have the capacity for moral or immoral behavior. I was just wondering if you had met "impressively self-less Christians" or if you found that type of Christian was very rare/non-existent. It is more of an intro into #5.

Interesting answers, thanks for taking the time to put it all on video.

  • @Epydemic2020

I guess we should expect some christians to be impressively self-less I havent met too many, but i dont deny there are but I dont see why that actions of the few most outstanding christians would effect its truth anymore then hitler being a christian disproves christianity.

If we saw that on average christians were smarter then atheist that would be interetesting, but we actuall see the opposite case.

    Thanksa lot for watching.

  • Good answers.
