The children are not there they are not talking to the kids. Who is this hurting? If you want to go to this you know you pay for military chaplains and churches on every single US military base. Great video on the recent trend of attacks on Christianity in public. The Constitution says that the government cannot establish a religion, which is interpreted by anti-theists as "religion may have no presence in public places".
A prayer in a public school is not the establishment of a state religion. The term "separation of church and state" is not present in the Constitution and though separation is fine, it should not be interpreted as to purge any trace of religion from public places.

I am not against gays, I do not agree with gay marriage, but I would never oppose a gay couple from being together! Your argument is a joke.

We don’t have to agree on anything.
I don’t care if you don’t like gays, and consider us an abomination.
When you want to create laws that deny us rights and liberties then you’re a bigot.
My argument is I will stand against those who want to continue denying us the right to jobs, housing and services without discrimination, and deny us the liberty to marry.
I do not consider my rights and liberty a joke.

Marriage is not a joke it is a liberty, that gay folk are refused. Because of this we are denied healthcare rights, inheritance rights, and hundreds of others.
We also are denied the right to jobs, housing, and services without discrimination in most of the country; I don’t consider this a joke either.
