Im honestly inspired. I dont have a disability and im not even close to jumping that high!
Ive been yelling, and complaining, and freaking out about my riding, how im not good enough, my horse isnt good enough. But these people dont complain at all. they just take it.
My goal is to try to be more like them. selfless. Im going to stop taking everything I have for granted.
i have been tryin for weeks now to contact the PBSJA but no-one has replied, i am rgd blind and can jump 1.1m plus but do not have a horse capaple of this, can anyone help me? x
I know a lady who rides very well, and she competed in the paralympic games as a competitive swimmer, but she definetly rides well enough to possibly become a paralympic dressage rider someday
Two riders are in the arena because, the trailing rider is blind. The lead horse guides the blind rider by calling left, right, and counts the strides to the jump.
im doing para dressage and i would like to do jumping but i cant because i would fall of the horse everytime... i never knew that jumping for para sports is that big, respect
it is the most amazing thing to watch live because you are all so stubun to carry on and good on you, anyone wanting more info on the sport look at the British para show jumping asociation website.
I recently had my leg amputated and my goal is to go to the paralympics with my horse. Just goes to show you we equestrians are very stubborn and refuse to give up.
how do u get involved? i mean, i've got all my arms and legs but quite a bad visual imparement, r ther any lyk instructors that know how to teach people to get round ther disabilities? cause i cant judge distance and stuff but i reali wanna get to the top of showjumpin!
