I'm thinking of getting a 4850, and if i manage to get around the compact size of my pc and fit the card in, would there be any serious bottlenecking issues with my CPU?
The shadows look quite fucked up in GTA IV, but everything else looks perfectly fine, even with Medium settings. And running Far Cry 2 on max detail features no problems at all. I'm not aware of any CPU problems.
But seriously, the 4850 is one the best price/quality ratios you'll find. It cost me 140 euros for this card that can run Far Cry 2 maxed, I'd consider that a good deal.

It's a 2.2GHz Athalon dual core.
Also how does your 4850 run GTA IV?

You see, THIS is the kind of stuff i'm subbed to you for.
Keep up the great work man ;)
By the way, what PC have you got?

AMD Ahlon Core-2-Duo E8800 3,00 GHz
2 GB 800MHz RAM
ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB
Asus P5K-E
As you can see, good enough to run Far Cry 2 maxed.

"Nice, at least you're not getting any lag thanks to all the fire."
Truth be told, the framerate dropped by 30, but luckily there was still 20 FPS left.
