Not sure if the Art Institute is the best place for a programmer. I go to AI of Seattle and we have some programming courses but mostly concentrating on the art side of games & animation.
uhh...buy Unreal Tournament 3 or Gears of War, take the .exe file and make a shortcut and for file name, write EDITOR at the end, open that up and the engine will open up! ^_^

its purpose is mostly for level design. you can mess around with materials in the engine as well and and all sorts of other cool things with kismet :)
just mess around with it and see what kinda stuff you can do
Not sure if those Thunder Flash assets are working very well in your demo reel but the rest is pretty good with some very nice lighting!

yep...need a PC to access the engine and a copy of either UT3 or GOW to get to the editor.

do you need a really good computer bc my pc isnt sogood....would it still work

sorry to say but yeah.
i would reccomend a very good graphics card (like the geforce 8600 minumum) and a dual core 2.0 or above as well as 2gb ram.
one could do it but just to be on the safe side, 2. it takes a good amount of computer performance to make it work well.
