Just a tad slower than Buddy, but overall the best rendition by any band (other than BR) that I've heard...and I had the pleasure of hearing Buddy perform this live in concert on several occasions. And that lead trumpet...WOW!

Actually, they are playing at the posted speed as indicated on the chart which was arranged by Bill Reddie. The written opening tempo is quarter note = 92. They play the entire chart exactly as written. Kudos for these guys. They rock.

Liesl Whitacre is the woman on lead trumpet and yes, Stanley Kay, Buddy's relief drummer at one time and founder of the DIVA Jazz Orchestra...Liesl played lead with those butt kicking women too.....so did I.
