WoW! I saw her concert in Warsaw two years ago. Her voice was still beautiful, but not strong enough. I thought she couldn't sing like when she was young. But I was wrong! This is perfect! I'm very happy that she still can sing so good. Especially such a difficult song as Troy. Love you Sinead!
I stumbled on this video looking for the video where she tells someone in the crowd that she no longer sings Troy because she isn't as crazy now as when she wrote it. I'm so glad she's singing it again, it's one of the most amazing compositions ever.

This song is raw, elegant, controlled, explosive. A pure exquisite marriage of lyric, vocal and music--it is a cascade of absolute brilliance. And what about those absolutely haunting strings at the end that carry the listener away into the demonic lovely ether of this affair? I hope I hear her sing this song in person before I die.
A love song, but not a romantic love song. She is talking about a love once had, to the lover that moved on, saying, "You did this, you fucked it up, and now you will hear me."
