@voidlam lol I know for sure, I attended many Levy shows for a short while in NYC back then. It's possible they borrowed elements from an older song, but it's an original. Levy's version is also on youtube and if you go to the wikipedia page of the pierces version, you'll find the song credit info in the sources (source #2)
