I must say Rahi sahab has a very unique style in his filmed songs. He never looks at the girl who is showering her love and offering the charms of her body to him. He always looks away like a gentleman. I believe he knows he's "got it" even if he chooses not to look at her. I dont think he looks miserable. Characters portrayed by SR always bore a grim smirk on his face, shoulders in the couter direction to the face and legs widely apart, and the gait matching very close to that of a duck. Perhaps this posture could be the one aspired by many SRs to be, I dont know. What I know that this character was far fetched and has no resemblance to reality. Just like our society which has nothing to do with what is depicted in movies.
