  • dee need an ass whooping , she acting like a lil bitch

  • Shirley looks like Madea... Except that Madea's more graceful.

  • Dee is my idol. She is my favorite

  • lmfao i swear i love Dee

  • And again... Jackass burgers! :o)

  • It's jackass meat! lol! :o)

  • Doesn’t matter who was professional or not, the show is to be enjoyed not critiqued.

  • I find it hilarious that they never had an interest with Kool & the Gang, Marvin Gaye, The Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash or anything like that. For some reason they always referred to "white" music like The Doobie Bros, and other groups like that. Raj even references Glenn Campbell's "By the Time I Get Back to Phoenix" at 2:46. The only time I can remember any hip hop is when Rerun dances. I'm sure this was not common back in the day as it's not common today. I still love What's Happening.

  • Carol Burnette made a living out of leaving the bloopers and laughs in the scene, ...So there!

  • When will she be 10, Shirley: Next year FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Wow some people know how to take all the fun out of childhood memories however I really do thank you so much for these episodes...Hilarious!! :)

  • @sisterkathy1998 You know! If you watching just to analyze every tiny little flaw, you can't be having a good time watching the show. Go into forensics already!!

  • 3:40 Rog just strongarms Dee...lol!

  • Dee: "I can't eat jack_ss meat without ketchup!" LOL

  • HAHAHAHA! Dee & Shirley crack me up!

  • When Dee laughs, she is so out of character, that she even threw Dick Van Patten off for a second. If my memory serves me right, Dick Van Patten was a talented child actor himself. He must have been disgraced to work with such a low breed of cat. The only one who was any good was Shirley, and Rerun could dance up a storm. The rest are non descript, faded memories.

  • Dee was such a cutie...raw as an actress, but definitely had charm about her.

  • Dee had something. It does work

  • An oak tree, ROFLMAO!

  • BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey its Mr Bradford from eight is enough, and mr Tate from Bewitched

  • Hey its Mr Bradford from eight is enough

  • When Dee Laughed, I wonder if that was a blooper, or a part of the script?

  • @htruman no, she just made a tiny mistake

  • lol..I'd eat Bridgeburger before I would eat Black Dungeon (White Castle) lol

  • jack ass meat? lmao

  • @emmanuel5ful

I get your point. But Dee is a serious character who's always in a rotton mood and sarcastic to everyone. She NEVER laughs normally. Especially not after making a sarcastic remark to someone. But still, I suppose it don't matter much. It's still a great show and my 2nd favorite all-black comedy (my first being Family Matters).

  • After rewatching my complete series box set, I never noticed before how unprofessional of actress Dee (Danielle Spencer) actually was. She's always looking like she's about to bust out laughing when she tells a joke. And at 7:40 she laughs out loud (totally out of character) when she's supposed to be acting serious and sarcastic. You'd think they would have did a retake of that scene (and many others) but they didn't. But still, Dee is one of the funniest because of her smartass remarks.

  • But for some reason when I click on 7:40 it's AFTER the part where she laughs. So maybe it's 7:37.

  • @MrHossCartwright I've noticed that, too! And she looked into the camera a lot which made me think that she was reading her lines off a cue card! This also reminds me of Jimmy Walker, who played J.J. on Good Times. There's one show where he's sitting@the table, Florida is behind him talking to James, and he's staring@the camera, ducking, as if he's blocking Florida's camera view! LOL

  • @MrHossCartwright I think she was supposed to laugh as a reaction to him calling it jackass meat! lol

  • @celeste0720 no, that was a real laugh, remember this was a low budgeted black sitcom back in the 70s

  • @balotelli456 Yes, it was a real laugh. TV was different then. The cast also had a good time on the set. Some of the cast members of today sitcoms laugh and they leave it in too.

  • @celeste0720 I was a real laugh. Some thing happened that the TV viewers never saw. Only the studio audience did. If I meet Dee some day I will ask her about it. I always wanted to know why she laughed and why that was left in. I saw this as a kid.

  • LMAO ya'll noticed that the director made Dee break character and laugh when he said "Burgywurger"?

  • @Lawless66007 the only time she ever laughed on that show

  • Shirley was such a hilarious bully.LOLOL!

  • Dee was a MESS!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't eat jackass meat without any ketchup

  • LMBO! I love the way Dee snatches the burger from the display. CLASSIC!

  • She ain't gonna look like my momma. We all goin' da jail!! LMBO

  • Momma Me My Money Sucka !! LMAO !!

  • @mvc64 I always find that hysterical.

  • OMG WTF N0W Is ift just me 0r does Shirley l0ok like a 1970's version 0f Tyler Perry's MADEA??? LOL

  • @DontNVdaVIP You are a trip. Hilariously correct. LOLOLOL

  • ROFL! Raj sAID "And if U want her 2 jump 0ff a few (bridges) we can do that 2! CLASSIC
