  • Tea Party is a fraud. The first Tea Party rally was sparked by the rant of a business reporter, Rick Santelli, who was ranting in defense of the traders who crashed our economy. To be precise, he was ranting that the TARP bailout included provisions to benefit direct borrowers rather than the institutional players.

"How many people want to pay for your neighbor's mortgage that has an extra bathroom and can't pay their bills?"

Tea Party is legitimate anger manipulated by the elites they loathe

  • Awesome video!

  • People, I don't wanna be the big important messenger but I do can tell you this. I live in Belgium, Europe I see how it crumbles down, islam grows here rapidly day by day. I've been to florida, new york and california, been to every country in europe, been to hong kong and Moskow. I can tell you this: The world is dark and cold, US is the light. It doesn't make you a good person or ethically correct if you vote democratic, eventually you will pay a price for that. And it irreversable.

  • I believe these people are just getting paid to say this.

  • Get rid of that scott brown ad! He's a turncoat up here in mass A RHINO!

  • If we all cling to our tax dollars, we will all suffer immensely in the years that follow. ...unless of course you are one of the 1000 billionaires in the US.

  • Government is a prerequisite for a civilized society. Look it up in the dictionary. If you want small government, go to a country that has it like Haiti so you can see what you are wishing for.

  • @tneighbors The founders of our Republic believed in limited government. We do not advocate no government. We believe in the rule of law but not over protection and oversight which lead to tyranny. Government derives it's consent from the governed. Your are correct that Government is a prerequisite for a civilized society but it must be under the people.

  • @allendora8489 the size of government doesn't dictate how ethically it is run. It only dictates how much money is in the pot to fund the programs that help keep us safe, healthy, employed, and hopefully off the street. The rich are using the media to brainwash us into wanting a smaller government, when actually it would only benefit them. They would have to pay less taxes because there would be less programs to help the rest of us. Generally speaking, bigger gov means a better quality of life

  • Privilege for a few isn't liberty and justice for all. The reason religious conservatives love capitalism is that it mirrors the feudal system they look back to fondly. The best metaphor for capitalism is the southern plantation system. One man (or family) owns the plantation. He owns everything: the land, the tools & the laborers. But the plantation is too big for him to manage by himself so he hires overseers who police & manage the slaves. The government & businessmen are the overseers.

  • I'm voting for privilege, ahem, I mean liberty. Right wing "liberty"--the privilege to have segregated schools, to deny suffrage to poor people, to defraud one's customers and spy on one's workforce and rob them of their rights to free speech and assembly. The "liberty" to conduct government behind closed doors and poison the air everyone breathes without any repercussions. To "liberty" to deny women access to reproductive health. That is your "liberty" and your "morality".

  • I'm a socialist.

  • Of course the people in this video don't come off as lunatics, they're ACTORS in a PAID COMMERCIAL.

The lion's share of the real Tea Party people are cold-blooded fanatics that have REPEATEDLY AND PUBLICLY threatened to wipe out anyone who isn't on the far-right.

  • @BoredomCorner TEA = Taxed Enough Already. Don't you feel the same way? The true TEA Party is diverse and has no allegiance to any party or candidate. They are being commandeered as I speak, however, and it is up to WE the People to remain independent. Support whoever you want. Pick your poison, but don't assume TEA is all "far-right". The media wants you to belive that because the right-wingt and left-wing parties contribute to their propanda machine. I choose to keep my money.

  • @FistPumpLikeChamp Yeah, maybe two of them hate Bush.

  • It's ok but this is a fake teaparty started in 2009. two years after it started. if anyone has a fake message to mislead like hitler it's obamao

  • @themaclady Yeah sure, a guy who preaches CO-EXISTENCE is really like Hitler. Give me a fucking break.

  • What a pack of ridiculous nonsense.

  • YES ". I'M VOTING FOR OBAMA " I THINK RON MAYBE BEST " BUT HE GOT TO DAME MANY CRAZY PEOPLE ON HIS TEAM " SO IT'S OBAMA OBAMA AND MR PAUL NEXT TIME IF HE CAN MAKE IT 6 MORE YR'S "

  • I don't care for either party but Sarah Palin and her political views are scary. When I think of her I think of how HITLER fooled so many with all his positive messages of hope, freedom, and a stronger freer Germany to get voted in and then murdered millions with his fanaticism. I will stay neutral and put my hope in the only one who will truely free us, GOD.

  • 41 people don't want freedom and don't care about their constitutional rights

  • The glaring ignorance of those who I can only imagine hate this video, while accepting the sound-bite presidency of Mr. Obama is chilling but very instructive. It simply reinforces just how badly our mis-education system has performed over the past several decades. Critical thinking has all but disappeared in far too many, having been replaced by the regurgitation of mindless Leftist-Progressive talking points they were fed by the "smart people".

  • @912ProjectTennessee1

All you have is insults. No ideas. And you are lecturing about critical thinking. LOL. You are a tool.

  • free men dont vote in the game of democracy...they dont get permits.. and they dont live by the rule of other men...they live free or die

  • @mavrick316 lmao

  • I believe these are a bunch of paid actors and of course you had to include the token black.

  • My problem with the Tea Party is that it is asinine to suggest voting for "liberty". I have never seen "Liberty/Tyranny" on a ballot. I have never heard Obama laugh at the constitution. The Tea Party is nothing but a place where scared, ignorant people can go and listen to flute music and imagine themselves akin to their forefathers, about which they know nothing.

  • You need a token long hair. Where's Ted Nugent?

  • just pointing out some things, i thought the tea party was funded by the koch brothers who are billionaire tycoons. no offense but i am pretty sure that that the folks in washington do know better than you. you cant just say "they taking our freedom" and expect people to blindly follow

  • @FightTh3P0wer No, following blindly is not what is asked. Educating yourself, knowing what you believe and why, understanding the governing documents of our country ... these are some of the things you are asked to do. Instead you follow the standard, ignorant Leftist playbook of denigrating that about which you obviously know nothing. Why must individuals like yourself insist on openly showing your ignorance?

  • Yeah, they're voting for liberty, they're just voting for themselves but what about everyone else? It's taxes and redistribution of wealth that make and entire country strong in my opinion. The people who see the Tea Party as crazy people are ignorant, I don't hate those in the Tea Party I just don't agree with them, but I guess that's what's great about freedom of speach.

  • @123killkill123 Taxes are necessary, but redistribution of wealth is Communist idealogy.

  • Brainless idiots that only talk about ideology and not factual reasons for their opinions. For instance, saying you are for a smaller government sounds nice, but there are some parts of government the Tea Party wants to gut such as regulations. OK, so then you might as well hand the banks their next banking crisis on a platter and be prepared for huge bank fees, more forclosed homes, more cases of ecoli, more cancer deaths from chemical poisons in our air, water, and food...

  • I so want to get involved in the Tea Party... I will just have to wait until I am actually in a place to do so!! Keep going guys! You're doing us proud!

  • @TheMchap123 It's sad when I'm an American and I am afraid for this country because people here in a America don't actually know what "freedom" "liberty" and what the constitution stands for. I'm no patriot by any means but this country is so full of morons and hypocrites that it makes me want to puke

  • Excellent commercial. EXCELLENT!

And look at the diverse people.

  • @VictoryRepublican holy fuck! you are a republican! Only a republican would actually comment on the "diverse people" this isn't small town USA in the 1800's.....it's 2011...and there are actually other people with beliefs, skin colors and religions. Jesus fucking Christ

  • @TheTrueFranchise Well, you're quite the foul mouthed little scoop of pond scum, aren't you. Why don't go you do what liberals to best and smoke some dope & pretend you know what day it is. Let us real Americans deal with the grownup stuff, alrighty?

  • @VictoryRepublican I don't smoke dope, I don't drink....I live clean. How much do you drink a day? I know what day it is...it's the day that my eyes get opened wider to the ways of the world including this country. I love America and I would never want to live anywhere else. Tea Party ads and Tea Partiers are nothing but propaganda. Now...if Obama is Socialist in your minds then Tea Partiers are Fascist because I have never seen as much anti-political Propaganda since Hitler.

  • @VictoryRepublican Try me again when the GOP doesn't have a track record for making the economy worse, and the Tea Party doesn't regularly threaten to kill people who aren't on the far right.

  • So what's the Tea Party economic agenda after we get rid of health care? We still have a budget short fall because of your support for the richest 1% of Americans and wars that the GOP got this country into. What next? Do tell!!

  • Er, they say they're not angry...

*points to rest of Tea Partyers*

  • Thanks, Steve. Great video!

  • @EyeHopeHeFails Thanks!

  • CONGRESS WAS SPELLED WRONG. I HAD TO CUT IT SHORT,COULDNT GET ALL THE CHARACTERS IN

  • I RESPECT EVERY POINT OF VIEW BUT ITS CONGRESS THAT HAS THE POWER AND CORPORATE AMERICA. TAXES R A PART OF LIFE. EVERY PRESIDENT LIES, THATS A GIVEN. HOW CAN A BROKE GOVERMENT OPERATE?WHY SHOULD WE B REPONSIBLE FOR THE NATIONAL DEBT. LETS ADD UP ALL THE POLITICIANS PAY AND MILITARY SPENDING FOR 1 YEAR. WHY DOESNT CONGREESS SAY LETS CUT OUR PAY AND STOP LETTING THE FED RESERVE RUIN OUR COUNTRY BY HAVING INVISIBLE MONEY. WE NEED A. JACKSON BACK ,HE SHUT THE CENTRAL BANK N WE HAD NO NATIONAL DEBT

  • Ever since Palin latched her hooves on this movement I've lost respect for it. For the record, every American that votes is a display of liberty-not based on which movement / party he or she supports.

  • the bailout helped stimulate the economy, w/o it we would have been screwed. obama did a fine job, and government regulation protects us from corporations who seek to exploit us.

  • @Andy180084 There is NO WAY to measure that. It could just be coincidence as well as your conjecture. The statement "the bailout helped stimulate the economy" is masking the DEBT incurred that will continue damage through our lifetimes.

  • @Andy180084 and all the stimulus money came from our pockets... which we can now not invest in the economy... and we are now that much more poor... basically, the stimulus put us in debt. So, it did absolutely nothing for us.

  • @JList1000 the national debt was already approaching $10 trillion after Bush, the stimulus was a mere fraction of the total. If it were not for a bailout, like many countries across the world did due to banksters incompetence, we would have been broke like what happened in iceland and ireland. I 100% agree that the gov. should not have been so lenient, and should have put interest on the 'loan' as punishment. Maybe next time peope will learn that unregulated banks are bad... HA!

  • @Andy180084 Your nothing but a talking point. Bush tries to increase relations but was stopped by the very people crying about regulations now. Watch this "Timeline shows Bush, McCain warning Dems of financial and housing crisis; meltdown"

  • @2012vote He's going on about Fannie/Freddie again, another terrible plan bought up by stupid democrats. It was obvious that program would fail, allowing/forcing banks to allow customers to buy houses they clearly could not afford was a stupid idea. The only point I will make is that deregulation of America had rapidly increased under Nixon, increased under Reagan, even under Clinton, and certainly did under bush. Republicans exist to deliberately create loopholes in regulations and taxes.

  • @2012vote the only other point i wish to convey is I am not a democrat, just a liberal seeking the end of the two party oligarchy, which i strongly believe includes the tea party. There is no hope for 2012, neither side has a worthy candidate, and Obama will likely be reelected. Unless of course Ron Paul decides to run. Neither side ever supports the polls and the public opinion and is much more willing to cut important social programs, amounting to a minor 5% of the deficit, than military.

  • You all want jobs and 'made in America?" well get prepared to pay more at your local Walmart when everything goes up 25% more.

  • @ctronjock Nonsense. The high costs in America are a direct result of the Federal government taxes woven into every transaction that you cannot see. Remove the power of taxation with the FairTax and costs will go down, manufacturing will return and employers will be fighting over your services for higher pay.

  • @FistPumpLikeChamp , OK it's simple math, there are 150 million ruffly in the United States. We have a 3 Trillion dollar debt, to pay this back, EVERY man, woman and child owes $20,000. So what this is saying, our government just mailed every man, woman, and child a credit card bill in their own name of $20.000. This is above and beyond of what we are paying in taxes now. How is that for T.E.A. Party math?

  • The Tea Party being for the U.S. Constitution is a laughable idea.

  • @biantai888 in what way is it laughable... they ARE for the Constitution.

  • Funny, no one was concerned about debt when Washington rubber stamped two wars in ten minutes. NOW they're concerned about debt. And, oh yeah - keep putting those American flags on foreign cars, people; if that's your understanding of "supporting" America.

  • THIS JUST IN...Scientists have just announced today (October 28, 2010) that Liberalism is indeed a Mental Disorder: According to scientists at UC San Diego and Harvard University, "ideology is affected not just by social factors, but also by a dopamine receptor gene called DRD4." That, and how many sociopathic friends you had during high school. The study was led by UCSD's James Fowler and focused on 2,000 subjects from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health. This case is CLOSED.

  • What a week for hateful rhetoric! First we heard Obama intentionally evoke racial imagery with his “sit in the back” of the bus comment. The self-proclaimed “post-racial” president is really the most racial president...and probably our most divisive ever. Now we hear Obama telling supporters to "punish our enemies." Seriously! Obama's not talking about Al-Qaeda or the Taliban -- Obama is telling supporters to “punish” fellow Americans on the other side of a political aisle! Obama is despicable.

  • Who are the people who make up the Tea Party movement? They are the hard-working, tax-paying, law-abiding citizens who support their local sheriff!

  • Many of us in the T.E.A. Party are Libertarians, who don't want Big Brother/Big Government controlling us, and we especially won't let Big Business control us. Both political parties have failed us and the American people are taking back the Government from the "ruling class"/"career politicians".

    Real change is coming!

"Individual States can be as big and foolish as they choose, at least we can move to another state."

  • WoW so is true, the Tea Party really exist, topics are right The Europeans we believe we are superior and Ameriricans are just stupid. Mexicans are more real Americans than all this shit

  • @FistPumpLikeChamp I agree that jobs should be number #1 priority, and the wasteful government spending, takeovers and regulatory uncertainty is killing jobs and the recovery. The deficit is MUCH higher than 12% of GDP, it's at record levels. Since you're not allowing me to look up numbers on Google, you should double check that figure.

  • @FistPumpLikeChamp The federal government is spending money they don't have and my children haven't even earned yet. Between the existing national debt and the unfunded liabilities of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid each member of my family of four already owes almost $300,000. Each. My 3 year old daughter doesn't have $300,000 to pay for wasteful spending. The only way to pay for it is hyper inflation or confiscatory tax rates. I don't want either to happen to me or my children

  • -

Boston Tea Party … -‘removed the govt. established monopoly’- from the –‘British East India Company’… ; as we should do against - Health Insurance providers, Energy cabals, Chemical, Agricultural, Pharmaceuticals, etc. - monopolies …

    -

Last monopoly broken up was ATT … and that has worked well for –‘competition and consumers’-.

    -

Current so-called tea-party is sucking up to the monopolies [and is financed by them] !

  • @21tikcah

Yawn. What "monopolies" are they? If you can't answer that, you are a retard. Enjoy crying like a little bitch in November.

Now, please go back to the historically illiterate Kostard site where you belong.

  • I AM GLAD THAT THE TEA PARTY CARES!!

THEY ARE PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU AND I

THEY ARE PATRIOTS AND THAT IS WHAT WE

    ARE.

  • What a difference between people saying who they ae and what they believe in, and a Democrat sponsered ad showing various famous conservatives, and saying that they are going to vote- and don't want you to. A completely different mindset.

  • ME TOO!!

  • I'd have more respect for the Tea Party if they were consistent. where were they when bush was spending like he had money out the ass, when he took a surplus & turned it into a deficit, & gave tax cuts to the rich & got us into 2 costly wars at the same time (i don't care how you spin it, cutting taxes & waging war simultaneously is insane). now that obama's continuing many of bush's policies they come out. if they were tight on bush's ass too maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today.

  • @PBCrewOfficial The Tea Party TIme Machine has yet to be constructed - we're waiting for stimulus dollars to work on that. The budget deficit is $161 billion in 2007 and now it's 1.3 trillion - that's EIGHT times higher. The highest deficit ever under Bush was $413 billion on 2003 and we've had two years in a row of deficits that were three times higher than that. There's no comparison.

  • @LandofDaFree bush practiced a lot of irresponsible policies, some similar & some worse than obama's, & these tea party ppl didn't have a complaint. they state their freedom is somehow violated now, yet said nothing when bush actually violated their constitutional rights w/ things like the patriot act. they said nothing before we went into iraq & passed medicare part d or the bush tax cuts. these ppl protesting are not economists & have no idea what these deficit numbers actually mean.

  • @PBCrewOfficial The Tea Party Movement is well aware of how much of our money is being wasted, how the deficit is out of control and what it means to the future of our children and grandchildren. You apparently, are not.

  • @PBCrewOfficial we were on the WhiteHouse lawn bitching. If you weren't sitting around trying to be a rap star you would have known that.

Ah the surplus. you are young. The surplus wasn't money that was in the hands of the government. The surplus was what would have been collected under Clinton tax plan in 20 years. Like the Dem congress saying their bills are payed for, only after 10 years of collecting a tax or from taking away the child credit from everyone. There was never no surplus.

  • @PBCrewOfficial

That's a really lame argument. You're basically asking why an alcoholic decided to stop drinking today instead of 2 years ago. Who cares. The fact is Americans have had enough of massive spending, union bailouts, and a mere 20% of the fringe leftists pushing their agenda in a country that is 40% conservative and 40% moderate.

And yes, we did oppose Bush's spening. It just took Obama's massive government expansion to stop us from just yelling at the TV and go to the streets.

  • FIRE CONGRESS!!

  • The seventh person (female with black hair and heart necklace) completely contradicts what the tea party says they are all about.

'I believe our government is limited by our constitution'

WTF is anyone paying attention??? I think not!

  • @littleerrors What are you talking about?

  • These cant be tea party people, I saw a black person and an asian...this just cant be!!!

The tea party are supposed to be all racist according to the NAACP and Rev. Jesse Jackson and they never lie.

    LOL

  • Great message Vote Scott Bradley on Nov. 2nd.

  • The TEA Party will prove one thing; they will split the Republican vote in 2. Mid-term elections that could have gone to REPs, will now go to DEMs.

The 2 party system does not work, however, a 3rd party spoiler will not help.

    2 words Ross Perot.

  • @redfistaor Agree in principle except that there are few races in which the Tea Party candidate is a true 3rd party. In most cases, the Tea Party candidates ran and won in the primaries so that ther can be a clear choice in Nov.

Now, if you want to talk about establishing voting rules that require a majority, I'm with you 100%.

  • @SteveRiese I hear you. I live in Georgia...and we have the choice of Roy Barnes and Nathan Deal...both as crocked as a country mile. I am voting for Monds...the Libertarian group candidate because if they muster 20% they will be seen as a "Party" in GA.

  • @redfistaor The Tea Party is not a third party and is not running any candidates, though they endorse specific (Republican) ones. There will be no vote-splitting this time around.

  • @redfistaor Wrong. We are splitting the RINOs from the Republicans and showing our government we are coming for ALL of those who are destroying our nation.

  • That's great, the Libertarian Party needs more people like this voting for Libertarian Party Candidates. The Republican Party needs to die a natural death with voters like these never voting Republican again. The Republicans are the worst offenders of Liberty, violators of the Constitution, Big Speeding (worst than Dems), advocates for Bigger Government (worst than Dems), advocates of torture, advocates of fraudulent banking....

Vote Liberty and Libertarian Candidates this year

    Nice commercial

  • More freedom & less government????? Thats a great catchline of the republican party for the last 30 years. Can we have some specifics on the issues please? What exactly does the Tea Party want to cut to reduce the budget? (Take into fact that Defense, Social Security & Medicare acoount for most of the budget and cutting everyhting else weouldnt even touch the deficit) We want specifics on everything. Not just some generic "liberty and freedom" crap. This video makes Americans look dumb.

  • @bmoody82 , The Republicans are just the opposite of more freedom and less government. You are obviously thinking of the Libertarian Party. The Republicans are worst that the Democrats wrt Big Government and Less Freedom.

This is the best Libertarian Party commercial I've see. Not Republican.

  • The Tea Party is the best thing that has happened to this Country in 80 years. People are waking up to the corruption and out of control politicians and big government taking away our freedoms and liberty. Thank You Tea Parties across America.

  • @quizerry , we need more Tea Parties like this voting for Libertarian Party candidates like these people in this commercial.

The Republicans are far worst that the Democrats wrt taking away our Freedom and Liberties. The Republicans wire tapped the entire nation, The Republicans started these crazy Airport Searches. Republicans don't believe in Habeas Corpus, they believe in an all powerful ruler that at his whim can throw people in the dungeon.

WRT Liberty Republicans are in the Middle Ages

  • yep vote for liberty still same story tho vote for the lessor of two evils

  • We will not be Silenced! They just don't get it! But they WILL!

  • the tea party wont fix the deficit

  • Nancy Pelosi is a crappy housekeeper, she cleaned up nothing. Paper Towels and mudd won't get it.. All the fossils need to be ejected from office, and term limits need to be emplemented and adhered to. All Bills with added pork should be transparent, and approved by we the people,,, if they want to keep their jobs. We the people are in charge, not those in office. They're in office because we placed them in those positions. At this point I trust none of them, because they haven't earned my trust

  • This is an awesome commercial. I'm sharing it everywhere I can find.

  • I am voting for liberty.

  • @TheConservativeLiberal Are you blithely unaware that BOTH Republicans and Democrate vote party lines. You said, "... He just a lefty that votes for the (D) blindly. If it has a "D", he must agree". That's all I see in this country is people sayin that their parents were R or D and that's how they vote. Are you serious?! Pull the wool from over your eyes and see things for how they really are. I have never voted party lines for the simple fact that no one party can get it done.

  • @dpn48312 You had me with the commercial until you opened your mouth with "Find a liberal echochamber to peddle that nonsense." Sounds like you're taking sides. Something the Tea Party claims they don't do. How about you reword that lil statement and get back to me. Or is that how you really feel?

  • great commercial and if we all vote together we can stop obummer and his marxists in california we are going to stop boxer and brown career idiots.

  • Hell yeah, I'm voting for liberty come November. Kick out every single liberal in sight........

  • What the Tea Party tries to represent are the notions of smaller government, lower taxes and the premise that government functions with the consent of the governed. Our gov't has inserted itself every business, and every person's life in America, to our collective detriment. From health care, to security, to our borders, to financial regulation, the government (and its bureaucrats) has demonstrated its inability to do the job. Now, it no longer asks to do more, but demands. I'm fed up.

  • @dpn48312 Hey Rahm I thought you were busy taking over Chicago City politics.

  • You woke up a couple of decades too late.

  • Liberty in November sounds good to me

  • @dpn48312 We have an unaccountable government that can take what you have without your consent and with force if they choose. Corporations can not.

  • @LandofDaFree Here is how I interpret your statement: Gas companies pollute towns' water with fracking; BP spills oil; banks sell bad mortgages, bringing down wall street and the world economy, and are now caught foreclosing on properties they can't even prove they own; insurance companies avoid actually covering illnesses. All these things happen due to lack of government regulation and hurt average citizens (cont'd in part 2).

  • @dpn48312 I'm the coordinator of the Chicago Tea Party. We have not taken a single penny from an oil company, polluter, banker or insurance company. We're completely funded by small contributions from individuals. There are 3000 tea party groups in the United States funded in the same why. Find a liberal echochamber to peddle that nonsense.

  • @LandofDaFree It's okay... He doesn't know that there is a difference between Republics and Tea Party Candidates... He just a lefty that votes for the (D) blindly. If it has a "D", he must agree... He doesn't know that we are the true grassroots party of Liberty, the party of True Conservatism and Classical Liberalism, the party of true Constitutionalism, the Common Sense party, the People's Party... The TEA PARTY...

  • @LandofDaFree Forget them. Ignorance is bliss and they're a hopeless cause--you'll never convince them. They want to accuse the Tea Party of taking money from oil companies--of which there is zero evidence--while ignoring the fact George Soros pumps millions into far left organizations. That, of course, is perfectly okay.

  • @Mark97385 Zero evidence that the Koch brothers funded many of your bus rides to your 'supposed' town hall meetings last fall? Only about a million words were written about it. Zero evidence that Gingrich's PAC does not have his agenda up your ass? Only another million words about that.

  • @bosatsu76 ba ha ha ha ha...! I was talking about the oil COMPANIES not Koch brothers but WOW, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You probably have the Tea Party and Koch bros confused with George Soros and Moveon and others who bussed people to the homes of bankers to threaten them in their homes. Or union workers who are PAID to work picket lines. Wow wow wow. You go right on believing in your fantasy world. But I'll still take Newt's "agenda" over Soros's agenda ANY day!

  • @LandofDaFree , Glad to see you voting for the Libertarian Party this year.

  • @LandofDaFree give me a fucking break theres not a single republican thats not on the take

  • @dpn48312 At least we know who we're dealing with. Well spoken,,, Chris Mathews Groupie. Back away from the Cool-Aid ..

  • @dpn48312

I'm a Connecticut Tea Party organizer. We are depleting our personal savings accounts to fund our efforts. I wish to oust every incumbent, good or bad, Republican or Democrat, and start over!!!

  • @PALINSMITH Good OR bad? WTF does that mean... What's wrong with keeping the good and just culling out the bad... If you had been doing that for the 40 years that Republithugs were killing our manufacturing base, we would not be in this position.

  • @dpn48312

    wrong

  • @LandofDaFree The government -- which, by the way is not some outside entity, but in which you and I participate -- has a weakened accountability to the extent corporations are treated as citizens and allowed to buy their way to having what they want. The very reason you see the government is not accountable enough is because big business -- thru the government they BUY -- aims to do whatever they want, to your detriment. And you seem OK with this.

  • @dpn48312 Barney Frank took a trip to the Virgin Islands on Paloma Financier S. Donald Sussman's luxury jet... $200,000,000 of the $180 billion AIG bailout was given to one of Paloma Partners' subsidiaries, Paloma Securities, in 2009... S. Donald Sussman is a frequent financial contributor to the Democrat Party... He also happens to LIVE in the Virgin Islands where there are almost no taxes... Left-Wing hypocrisy at it's finest...

  • @LandofDaFree So corperate subsadies aren't companies taking from me with out my consent? & The government is accountable, to us, the fact most people don't realize that is the problem.

  • @yellowkrux When government gives subsidies to corporations it's the government who is taking from you and giving to someone else. We don't support crony capitalism.

  • @LandofDaFree Fair enough, but how about instead of complaining about the government being unaccountable, you try tomake the government more accountable. Or attempt to remove the insentive for crony capitialism with the government?

  • @yellowkrux That's exactly what we're trying to do. I knocked on over 300 doors today.

  • @LandofDaFree & What did you tell them? The problem with the government being unaccountable is systemic, it's the fact we are all but forced to choose between two parties allowing both parties to do basically the same damn thing 90% of the time. The problem with the incentives to crony capitialism is that as long as politicians must realy on private money to get elected they will always owe favors. Did you suggest anything to correct the real problems?

  • @yellowkrux They are only accountable at the ballot box using the simple principle of VOTING out those who expand the Federal government to control the people. That is what is down there for the most part and that is what you need to vote out TODAY. So GO DO IT and you provide the ACCOUNTABILITY.

  • @lonhosford You're right they are, except that all you'll do is vote in another guy who expands the federal government to control the people. Sorry the problem is systemic. It's not the people we have in there right now it's the people we put in there. You really want to hold them accountable, don't vote for anyone who will expand the federal government which rules out 99% of Republicans & 80% of Democrats.

  • @yellowkrux Actually you can change that and many of us have taken the banner to do so eralier this year and in 2008. The process started in the party committees (precincts) getting to take those seats. Thus some of the candidates on the Congressional ballot are part of that process. This is what most of the electorate does not understand and wonders as you have you keep getting the same results. However, look closely at these conservative candidates as many have come out of that process.

  • @lonhosford Again, no you can't. Most of these outsiders want to expand government into other areas. It's really a question of wheere you want the government to expand. Again it's th system.

There's only way corporations are accountable to citizens. Citizens vote with their pocket books. When corporations stop caring about their customers, ie citizens, they disappear.

Compare that to your beloved government that uses guns and the threat of imprisonment to steal money from your paycheck (assuming you even pay taxes) even before your paycheck gets to you. Are they accountable to you for what they do with that money ? Get some perspective.

  • @DoubleGauss But only if we DO NOT have a government that can consider a business "Too Big To Fail". Failure is how capitalism is corrected. Consumers (us citizens) STOP buying their products, services, etc. Company goes under. Gets bought out or new company comes in to fill the niche that realizes consumers are important after all. When government steps in a determines said company is too big to fail - GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM.
