Ionia, Michigan (between Grand Rapids and Lansing) on my family's farm. My wife and I lived there for several years, but when the kids came along, we needed more room, so we ended up building a "conventional" house. (I will always regret that.) About 1984 we burned it. It was getting pretty run-down and dangerous for neighborhood kids "exploring" - so it had to go. A sad day, indeed. Thanks for your interest!
