Enigma has always been more than just music to me, if I were to describe Enigma, I'd say they make art among music, the kind that not everyone likes because they may not understand the meaning behind since it isn't easy to grasp, but once you do, this music fills you with more than just joy. Most of the songs in Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi! include both Gregorian chants and tribal chants, reminiscent of their first and second albums, MCMXC a.D. and The Cross of Changes. The Gregorian chant is sampled from "Gregoriani Cantus" by Pierre Kaelin while the Latvian chant is sampled from "Lettonie - Musiques Des Rites Solaires" by Rasa Ensemble Riga.
In "Beyond the Invisible", Sandra Cretu again provides the opening vocals, Michael Cretu sings lead vocals while the chant in the song is a Latvian one. It is a folk song (which was brought from Latvia, it is national style of Latvian ancient folk music) "Sajāja bramaņi" ("Noblemen Rode Together") performed by the folk ensemble Rasa.

I was listening all kinds of music and right now i am a fellow metalhead. Most Pop Music was just too similar with same voices especially now. This is the music my parents heard and i found a Collection of Enigma CDs in the basement. I turned it on and listened this track.
Pure magic, i immediately remembered my youth where i heard that song often when my parents were listening this. Now i listen to this track and have to say:

@revibox most probably it belongs to both, because languages are quite similar, but I can say that in our (I am Lithuanian btw) folklore we use almost the same pattern :) I think you can check Kūlgrinda's performances and you'll hear those patterns

@averysexyleon i've always been under the impression they were Titania and Oberon as representatives of the wilderness, magic and power of nature held together by the unity of opposing yet complementary forcess such as a man and woman couple and they were shown as they passed through the seasons as a proof of their continuous and eternal existence...at least that's what I see in the vid...everyone is bound to see what their spirit and imagination allows them to XD
