You CAN skip the cut scenes. Just press in both of the analog sticks at the same time and it should skip the scene. Great game btw, I like the gritty cockney feel, resembles films like get carter pretty well, good story too. And its much better than Black Monday in my opinion. It also sucks that The Getaway 3 got cancelled, I was looking forward too it. Damn.

I will tell you now, from experience that this game is not that bad. It is however, a horrible GTA gimmick. Siants Row would be something I would rather suggest. Much better gimmick but if you would still like to try this game I would suggest you to get some pillows to scream into when you want to scream. ;)

wtf ?? what is he talking about ?? its a great game! It realy feels like ur driving in london, and car chases arent annoying... they are much better then in gta3... there are a lot of glitches, but i realy like this game... when u complete the game u get a free roam feature so you actuyally CAN just drive around the city... i totally dont agree with this... this isnt an awsome game but its very very good

lol. the reason i was gonna get this at GAME was because they are doing this 4 games for ten bucks deal and i think its excellent. i'm planning on getting Grand Theft Auto 3 (to replace my old, scratched, non-working anymore disc)and maybe the getaway, also maybe getaway black monday. (i just want to try them out!) i'll try and find saints row if i can, but i doubt it will be in 4 for 10 deal :( thanks for the info anyways :)

I will tell you now, from experience that this game is not that bad. It is however, a horrible GTA gimmick. Siants Row would be something I would rather suggest. Much better gimmick but if you would still like to try this game I would suggest you to get some pillows to scream into when you want to scream. ;)
