The response to 9-11 was the PATRIOT Act. Why? What did that do for us? It robbed the PEOPLE of their liberty. Just as the NDAA did. Since then we have assassinated U.S. Citizens. The building age doesnt have that much to do with it actually, its the type of steel used and the amount of it in the building. If a building is going to fall when hit by 2 big planes as you put it... it will fall pretty quickly from the time of impact. ie minutes. WTC had massive steel beam cores. The official line is that they melted due to jet fuel then collapsed taking the rest of the building with it.

You are partially correct. No skyscraper has ever completely fallen from fire damage alone--parts of skyscrapers HAVE collapsed due to ONLY fire damage. However, the WTC is not a simple case of fire damage. The WTC was a case of severe structural damage compounded by fire damage that ultimately resulted in collapse. Nice try comparing apples and oranges. This fact is somehow always overlooked by the conspiritards...

@SuperHathos ....The architect, Minoru Yamasaki, was most afraid of the towers toppling to a side and killing more people. So he purposely designed the towers to collapse straight down if they ever leaned to far! He designed it like bamboo sticks one beam on top of another so they fall straight down into the WTC plaza!

@SuperHathos Actually the towers were designed to take-on multiple hits from Boeing 707's, which was the largest commercial jet at the time of construction and about the equivalent size and weight of the 767's that hit the towers.
@krayzeejojo You're half right. The towers were not designed to withstand to impact of a 707. Leslie Robertson (lead structural engineer of the WTC) carried out calculations to estimate what the result would be if a 707 was to hit.
In his calculations however, he never took into account the resulting fires, which aided greatly in the failure of the structure, only the initial impact.

@rsmith1240 Even if the planes cause a collapse. Building will never collapse like that. Fire is not significant enough to cause buildings to implode. Look up Madrid Hotel fire. Its gutted through n through and still standing.. Unless you had explosives, you could never cause any building half that height to "collapse" that symmetrically, that rapidly, and that completely. It was a type of steel architecture equal to some of the biggest suspension bridges in the world.

With insufficient support of the top portion, it eventually gave it destroying everything below it since the extremely high mass travelling according with gravitational acceleration creates a strong force.

You are partially correct. No skyscraper has ever completely fallen from fire damage alone--parts of skyscrapers HAVE collapsed due to ONLY fire damage. These high rise buildings are designed to withstand fires for extended periods of time, as in other fires in buildings that burned for days. In his calculations however, he never took into account the resulting fires, which aided greatly in the failure of the structure, only the initial impact.

Steel Strructured building do not fall down as these 3 buildings Did as a result of trauma ( plane crashing, Towers were designed to withstand this ) and Low intensity Fires. @OutlawMCC I have done plenty of investigating... Those building's we're not designed to withstand impacts from plane of that size because they didn't exist when they we're built. And steel is susceptible to fire that's why they use flame retardant insulation. So with massive impact + explosion + jet fueled fire + weight + time = collapse...

@Matthappy420 Lol you're an idiot, the plane basically split the tower into top and bottom portions. With insufficient support of the top portion, it eventually gave it destroying everything below it since the extremely high mass travelling according with gravitational acceleration creates a strong force.
This is why the plane that was struck second collapsed first (the top portion had much greater mass).

Still to this day I believe the Naudet bros. knew this was coming, who videos a plane flying into a bldg,that was not caught by accident, the camera actually follows the plane all the way to it's destination, right into the bldg and why they did that is certainly beyond what most people would do with a video camera. unless it was intentionally planned as such with them watching it happen.

What you hear is secondary explosions and the building collapsing at freefall speed into its own footprint. Research Building 7. Research the explosions that took place in the lobby before the planes hit the twin towers. Research the wargames that took place on 9/11. don't buy into the government's official story any longer.

@mattdnu Paul Berriff was the photographer who shot this footage. He has completely denied this audio as the original. This was part of the documentary he directed, so I would tend to think that he knows what he's talking about rather than people who play this dangerous version of the Chinese phone game. One of the Naudet brothers was in the lobby of WTC 1 when #2 fell. No such audio like this was recorded either. And no, this isn't about an official government story.

@R0NP2012 Imagine a huge building with fires below it falling onto another building.Hot air rises and goes up to top part of towers and air in lower part is compressed.When building collapses leaving no room for air,where do you think it goes.It takes path of least resistance.Now,that aint certainly aint up,definately not down and not through walls.Presto,it releases through the glass windows,kind of like a burst pipe.My previous post details why this was not CD.

@MegaSlaze No,im saying a 99ton plane hitting a building at 400+mph destroying supports,creating an explosion and ensuing fire,weakens the structure.The top parts of each 40-60 stories respectively fell when damaged area collpased; tranferring momentum to lower section,creating global collapse.Think how much CD explosives you would need to lift 40-60 stories up by 2-3stories,thats how much energy was falling on lower part.

@pookster78 Going by your theory, you're saying the top layer collapsed or caved in, to the lower sections. You can watch any video of the towers falling and they don't fall in, they are all pulled with the structures still in bound.
Before steel "melts", doesn't it bend? Therefore the structure should've been hanging out the building, but I don't see that.

@MegaSlaze The floors sagged which pulled the supporting beams inwards,there are a number of photos showing this bowing of the beams.The steel beams themselves do not have to shear,the connection points of the beams are the most likely source,again,many pics of this.There was very little resistance because the top part gave as much energy as over 40tons of TNT,plus accumulative weight of each floor collected.I dont see good enough evidence of any CD so this seems most likely hypothesis.

@OG905EsC They are not weak,but they cannot hold the power of 200+ton TNT(correction of earlier post,i was thinking floors) plus accumulated weight of pancaking floors.I cannot clearly hear explosions,can you tell me secs of vid you think this happens.It will look something like CD because CD uses the same method,blow up floors and let gravity do the rest(but bottoom floor).Are you suggesting one floor of explosives? more than one? a mix of thermite?,what is your theory?

@OG905EsC I hear no explosives sounds,only collapse sounds.The bottom and middle are weakened in situ of collapse as collapse was tilted,they are not taking load equally at the same time.If the bottom or middle were weakened by explosives the collpase would not be uniform and they would have shown up on seismic recordings,which they did not.Collapse occured at impact zone,explosives hear would have been destroyed much earlier by impact and fire.
