  • Very C.S.I

  • I always liked this scene

  • This movie and Fight Club really changed the way movies are shot.

  • its freaking spike jones!!!! where the wild things are spike jones!!

  • Clooney's best movie, along with "O Brother Where Art Thou?"

  • is this movie worth watching? is it funny and action?

  • @Livinglifehigh >>> It's kinda similar to the 70s movie MASH: a lot of politics, some good and dark humor, and a lot of action.

  • picked of with molotovs...ha, .I suppose if you make people like tutle sims onperfect dark you might be able to smash one on their head and burn them.

  • i love that freakin movie

  • The worst part of getting shot is how hard it is to treat. Penetrating deep and on a complex path often you only chance to survive is to be literally gutted in a surgical theatre and have a surgeon root around for every tiny nick that is haemorrhaging blood. Even a tiny quarter inch bullet hole in an organ will have it bleed like a tap as they have such a rich blood supply.

This makes guns so much more deadly than swords, axes or arrows before them.

  • @Treblaine actually the gun will kill you slowly if it doesn't kill automatically the sword well that depends on the guy who's wielding it. i don't now i think getting your limbs cut of or your organs cut out of you is just as deadly hence the reason you carry a machete or a sword just incase your guns runs out.

  • @cybernako088 what I'm saying is swords and "melee weapons" tend to leave open, simple and superficial wounds that may be VERY extensive, but you know what happened, you know where the bleed is. Think TREATMENT!

A small bullet hole in the abdomen, bullets take long and erratic paths through the body (less predictable than a knife stab wound) mean you have so many bleed points.

Warriors have carried swords/machetes in addition to guns as you don't have to reload a sword, also it can't jam.

  • @Treblaine thats what i mean so why are we arguing?

  • @cybernako088 I didn't mean to argue, I was just re-iterating my point. Don't take offence at use of Caps-Lock, I can't use italic-tags to give added emphasise to key words.

  • @Treblaine

Let's compare them in a vacuum like you did, considering no other factors.

If I stab you in the abdomen with a sword, you will be more likely to die from that wound then you would be if I were to shoot you in the abdomen with a FMJ handgun bullet.

  • @BKESPO

Stabbing someone in the abdomen with a sword in a real life combat situation is extremely difficult. Usually the victor would win by severing a limb, but a straight thrust at the abdomen with a sword is pretty risky, if they dodge that you're dead.

  • @WunderDoob

    READ "In a vacuum"

That means considering no other factors.

  • @BKESPO

My apologies, sometimes I'm just too quick to point out how smart I am.

  • @BKESPO Don't forget, you can make a Fortitude save for less damage or to avoid something even more serious, but you need good Constitution.

  • @Treblaine I wish more youtube comments were insightful and constructive like yours, not just snide pointless remarks towards Justin Beiber or thumbs up whoring. I actually preferred youtube before they added top comments because ever since they put top comments people beg it without shame and too many of the comments on a page are spam, either directly begging for thumbs up or just ruining punchlines from the clip or copying someone else's comment or advertising their channel.

  • A so-so re-make of Kelly's Heroes...

  • ICE CUBE!!!!

  • now i know what happens if i get shot xD.

  • neat

  • i love this scene..

  • i love this scene..

  • Very well done scene

  • did you know that the guy who desinged this shot was ivestigated py the police cuz they tought that the man getting shot was really getting shot? look for tony gardner in wikipedia.

  • i want clooneys sunglasses! :D

  • I think those are Ray Bans RB3309's

  • lol, wear kevlar bullet vest!

  • Only stops 9's and and smaller, sometimes not even that

  • never mind that then, wear Dragon skin vest. it stands up to 9 mil to ak rounds. can stand a grenade blast.

  • Oh yeah, saw that on future weapons, that stuffs the shit

  • It doesn't solve all problems though. It's good for some things, not so much for others.

  • True, i mean ur chest is just protected and even if you had a grenade on ur chest youd loose ur limbs head and the shock wave would more or less liquify ur organs. Thoses some of the problems u were thinkin of? :)

  • No, we had a marine from the Naval Academy hang out at the military school I attended. He'd been fighting in afghanistan, and he said word for word "good for some things, not good for others." Didn't specify though, but I'll take his word for it.

  • Well, Dragonskin is definatly an upgrade from other modern Body Armor. It would probably be really good if they found someway to make Dragon skin helmets too.

  • dragon skin melts after being exposed to over like 90 degrees for over a couple of hours, the individual plates move around, so it dosen't in guess where? the desert

where do we fight all our wars? the desert

  • too bad dragons aren't real...

  • lol dragon skin is a new type of body armour.

The people who made it are really big headed to, its made of small disks os coposite armour overlaped like scales, it evenly distributes pressure to the body when shot at.

many guns and rounds were tested on this armour, but if a solidier is flanked, then incoming fire could just get under the scales from the side and kill him, its not full proof.

  • thats not true

  • so your telling me a round from the side will not get under the scales of dragon skin body armour? i only saw it on the tv, and the never tested the rounds side on.

  • yea, i saw it on future weapons. they tested it from the sided with 7.62 rounds

  • oh ok, i think its a good idea and all i just though the rounds could get under the skin.

  • How about .50 cal?

  • The problem is Dragon Skin is:

    -Too heavy

    -Not durable

    -doesn't cover more than Interceptor

    -WAY more expensive

    -Can't be readily mass produced/Maintained

Also there is this endemic problem with trying to turn soldiers into tanks able to be completely impervious to bullets, a Helmet and Vest do the job 90% of the time but you will cripple the solder with weight to save the last 10% making them so slow that they could be picked off with Molotovs.

  • Yeah a soldier needs to be fast and a bitch to hit, not nuclear bomb proof, i think 90% is good.

  • The new british body armour can aparently stop AK rounds, a female medic was shot 3 times in the back and none of the rounds penetrated, and a royal marine in afghanistan jumped on a grenade to save his friends lives and his body armour took the entire impact only had a bloody nose an sore ears, however it is heavy as fuck

  • lots of body armour can stop ak rounds, its the shockwave you have to worry about

  • no fucking way, the shockwave would have killed him

  • lol the "tissue" is depicted as a wadded-up ball of tissue paper XD

  • lol yer id didnt want to sound like a bio nerd by saying that first lol

  • Tanks for the vid my teacher was looking for this for my EMT course :)

  • wow...that was bad

CSI does it soooo much better

  • CSI had a few years to perfect the technique. Not saying I disagree though.

  • Nice shot, thanks for the lil clip
