@1997SG haha i know. but i live in canada. and that was one of our worst winters in 20 years. there was so much snow...and so little options. shes a great mare now though! we can ride her anywhere and she does sleighs too. I don't think it botheres her much. and this was sooo long ago!
no...she bucked because she was hyper. She does it even in the round pen. And she was going to the outside because she was used to having a wall there. I know what i am doing. And that wasnt even a lunge whip. It was a dressage whip....so it never reached her, i couldn't whip her. She is the kind of horse that is all nice and calm when you groom her but when it commes to work, she takes it as play play play!
@skwtproductions i agree it was a happy playful buck not defiance. she isnt scared of the whip (whether it is dressage or lunge) she is only being a horse.
I'll being breaking a 6 year old Throughbred-Arabian stallion on a lunge line. :) wish me luckk

u should a longer lungeline out so she has more to run. it is way to short the rope

she isnt mine, i only worked with her for 2 months last winter. we werent super close. haha. I am much closer with my own horse (of course)... :)

the reason she went into a buck, well a few bucks lol was because you hit her/scared her with the whip, if you relax she will relax
