Blissmo is not longer my account, I have a new one, the one I'm posting on now. Contact me on this account if you have any questions about the lyrics or translations I have provided.
Nice work! But shouldn't it be "grova väggars timmer grånar" i.e. "rugged wall's timber turns grey"? It's about a house after all, and what kinda road is made of timber?
What you're saying makes more sense. I didn't think of it like that, it sounds like "vägar", and I thought - roads need timber for bridges, perhaps to fortify slopes against landslides etc. But, yeah, you're right.
An english translation, as requested. Apologies in advance for any spelling or grammatical errors made. I've tried to translate it as literally as possible.
So the time had come, an autumn day, high and clear. The winter's bite of the northern wind, pinch hard, the teared cheek. Noone wants to be the last one left, the people hurry, when they leave. Left all alone, behind and forgotten. In a corner cabinet, you were hidden. The ones who left didn't look around. Therefor a grey little shadow was, behind closed and barred door, left behind like things from the past.
But the longing is there, among people who remember. The times that were in the dream still are. Long winters, short summers. Rugged road's timber turns grey. Winter storms, ice that blackens. The darkness falls, the time is near. Have layed down to rest quietly. You slumber without dreams, little one. But the longing is there, among people who remember. The times that were in the dreams still are. Yes, the longing is there, among people who remember. The times that were in the dreams still are.
So through the house, a tremble goes. Not as steady as it used to be. Loses it's hold and starts to give away. But then again, it's calm and still. Time went by, and time goes on, Time of waiting, days to years. The memory will perhaps one day, become lyrics and notes in a song. The song of the way back there. Home to you, who probably forgive, all the time you were forgotten. You the one who was left behind.
Then we shall go back home, then we want to go there again. To the place from we once came. For the longing is there, among people who remember. The times that were, in the dreams still are. Then we shall go back home, then we want to go there again. There where the summer wind, gently caresses your cheek.
Here's the lyrics in swedish. I've written them down by listening to the song, so it might not be 100% correct.

Vinterns bett i nordanvind, nyper hårt i tårad kind.
Vinterstormar, is som svartna.

How disappointing to discover this wonderful group just after they've disbanded....But what a joyful and harmonious sound they made.

True dat. Translated on the fly so there's probably more stuff that's inaccurate.

Like I said, the translation might not be the most accurate, but enough for you to understand what it's about.

No worries, and I do have some corrections by the way.
These are the correct lyrics;
#2 "Grova vägars timmer grånar"
The rugged roads' timber turn grey
The memory will perhaps one day, become lyrics and notes in a song.
