  • Well reported story of the Bushmen in Botswana.... where does the SAN name come from - thay dont use that name for themselves.

Today the situation for Bushmen is no different, those in Central who know that there are safari lodges there - also know that the government instructed the lodges not to give Bushmen water although that have water for their guests and a pool.... In the middle of CKGR ! god almighty. I love Botswana but this injustice just goes on and on and on

  • Why would a man advance from stone age to living in a Glass house and then fight to keep another person in a bush so he can pay once in a while to see them live in stone age, in the name of "Vacation".. I feel the Govt is doing justice to the people and survival International a.k.a Europeans shuld live the government alone...

  • @riskboy999 You have no idea what you are talking about. The government insists that they are trying to integrate the Bushmen but in reality, they are containing them in a way that prevents them from representing themselves in Botswana culture and government. If the intention were truly integration, they wouldn't place the relocation camps over 70 miles from the nearest towns. How are Bushmen supposed to get jobs and integrate at that distance? How are they to continue traditions away from homes

  • @blazinred13 I guess since you live in the US u get your information from the news and internet. I live in Botswana, my home district is in the north, Its about 400 miles from the City where i currently live, every now and then i go back to chek on my relatives. So there is nothing wrong with the San ('notice i don't call them bushmen lyk you') moving 70 miles to a town to get a better living. Plus their location was selected because they would be able to start their own farming lyk others.

  • @riskboy999 Living in the Kalahari desert is hell, i have been there, when i was in Junior school, on a charity trip in which we helped clean their surroundings and also socialize with most of them, they told us they go hungry most of the time while waiting for food and water, they dnt have houses, so they sleep in the open. we were informed 2 weeks prior to our arrival a 3yr old kid was snatched by a lion while they were sleeping. Why in the world would someone want another human 2 live lyk dt

  • @riskboy999 I respect your opinion but I do not agree. please do not make assumptions about me because we have differing opinions. I know members of San communities personally ('notice i didn't call them Bushmen but I know that pretentious academics lyk yourself call them San' I used the term bushmen because your average Youtube viewer would have no clue what a San was). I have been to the relocation camps and seen what effects they have on people first hand...

  • saludos desde mexico a los bushmen, cuiden su cultura como su propia vida, ustedes son unicos hermanos

  • great report, Oliver Steed. its a very inspiring story-- and the story was excellently executed.

  • As for the interesting update on the Tamil Tigers, it goes to show how their so-called "cause" is on very shaky moral ground. They should be disbanded, tried and jailed like the terrorist, criminals that they are!

  • Wow. Great story.

  • Shut the fuck up you racist indian aryan pig bastard tamils will rape you in the pussy
