Actually, most people complain about the DMCA because they don't understand it. YouTube doesn't have a choice, if they failed to take down video that received complaints because of POSSIBLE infringement, they'd be liable for damages for the time duration between complaint and resolution.

If they file a claim, you just have to file a DMCA counterclaim and the ball is back in their court. If you wanna get pissy and gripe about it unproductively instead, you just play into their hands.
