  • Actually guys, Revan is found again in the Foundry in SWToR, and is defeated by the Empire during a battle. Just before being killed he disappears in a lightning bolt.

  • Music from a game I will never forget. Beautiful.

  • This is easily my favorite soundtrack from the game. Such a soothing tune, and more importantly, when it's played makes it better.

  • Holla! Have you tried bee4biz (do a search on google)? its url locker that pays each time someone completes your survey and unblocks your protected link. A friend of mine earns tons cash with them just getting people to do surveys.

  • I don't know about anyone else here but I'm an adult and Kreia scared the freaking crap out of me. Absolutley amazing character design.

  • y is this soo short i crave for more

  • "She has brought truth, and you condemn it! The ARROGANCE!"

  • :41 sounds like something from the RoboCop soundtrack lol

  • Instead of Kotor 3 - a game that would be the best of many we get a shitty MMO that probably has a terrible story as well? FUCK YOU OBSIDIAN!

  • @mastacheif1 Bioware is making the MMO, and Lucasarts ordered it. Don't hate on Obsidian, hate on Lucasarts for cancelling KOTOR 3 and ordering a MMO.

  • @mastacheif1 Obsidian isn't even involved with the MMO.

  • sehr gutes stück, aber ein bisschen zu kurz. pack mal die extended rein pls.

  • Weirdly, the soft violins remind me of the scene from Bambi, right after Bambi's mom is shot. Epic stuff.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 Yes, Old Republic is a relatively unexplored, or at least undocumented, era in this "universe". Film support would do wonders for advancing the brand, not to mention regain respect from the ADULTS it may have lost due to the whole "Clone Wars" kick they seem so focused on.

  • This music does justice to John Williams' original Score for Star Wars.

  • Kotor III should be about revan and the Exile against The True Sith Empire

  • @qsenorlublub did you know theyre making a novel about it?

  • @qsenorlublub you should go read the new The Old Republic book then ;)

  • @qsenorlublub There already a book. It's called Revan.

  • @qsenorlublub the book called revan is, allthough i'd of prefered kotor 3 TBH

  • @qsenorlublub Revan and Bastila and his crew got lost in the far of the Galaxy.. he never came back.. maybe he found his Victory and the last True Sith Lords.. or maybe he has gotten a Family, no one knows the end of Revan.

  • @OdsDeaThShaDoW all we know is he failed, hence the sith empire in the old republic

  • @qsenorlublub yea, but they made a book about that, so I think that base is covered :P

  • When ever I feel angry I watch this it and it really carms me down

  • @dcfreek5252 that land was released in 07 with kotor being released In 04

  • @dcfreak5252 that land was released in 07 with kotor released in 04 so that is incorrect

  • I'm pretty sure all of us watching this video want KOTOR 3 badly ;)

  • This hurts my copyright! >:(

  • KOTOR 2's gameplay was pretty good, but everything else was absolutely amazing (listen to the soundtrack!) and especially the narrative. The story was so dark and mysterious that it even touched on deeper concepts such as life without the force, aka the end of life.

  • It has been some time......the years have not been kind to us both, it seems.

  • @menslady125 Excuse me... I must rest.

  • Stolen from WoW... Its the music from Nagrand... Sad sad sad lol

  • @dcfreek5252 When was WoW released?

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 November 23, 2004

  • @dcfreek5252 But Nagrand came with The Burning Crusade, which was released in 2007; KotOR 2 was released in 2004.

  • @dcfreek5252 you're talking bullshit

  • @dcfreek5252 This came before wow, sorry man.

  • @dcfreek5252 Fail. Kotor II was released years before TBC.XD

  • anybody who's got a career as a game maker try and make a kotor 3

  • Where the hell is kotor 3????

  • This does bring a tear to my eye, listening to this while I'm thinking about how sad it is that there's no third game (The Old Republic doesn't count).

...But I sense a disturbance in the Force...

  • You were Deafened

    You were Heard

    You were Broken

    You were Whole

    You were Blinded

    And... At Last... You Saw

  • How could you ever hope to know the threat that you faced if you have never walked in the dark places of the galaxy?!

  • @theunraveler She has brought truth and you condemn it?! The arrogance!! You will not harm her...you will not harm her ever again...

  • 36 Sith dislike this vid.

  • This piece was the only good thing about this game! With The old republic coming out this game's existence has been negated.

  • @ubermench3000 This game was amazing. Perhaps better than the first. GTFO.

  • reguardless of what people say KOTOR II was one of the best games ever in my book. It was rushed, and yet..it still had one of the best story plots I have ever seen. A story of an exile who just trying to get away from their past but getting drawn back in to fight off the sith. I can't put into words how it was. But it has to be one of the greatest. Good job obsidian, I just wish lucasarts would have given you guys another chance to make KOTOR III.

  • @Hamptoncltn Too bad Obsidian repackaged the whole "hunger" plot into Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer.

  • @chazdoit Naaah NW2: MoB was really good, the spirit eater thingy was rather annoying at times but the story line was wonderful. I wish they had been able to fully develop KOTOR 2 's story line as well but that's not their fault, blame Lucas Arts, they care more about money than the gamers... you know, Blizzard took AGES to release Diablo II and Warcraft II and III after the original games and they were worth the wait, why couldn't Lucas Arts do just the same??

  • @Hamptoncltn I think most of us fans think just the same!! We all loved it, it is just that well... if Lucas Arts had not rushed Obsidian to finish the game so early it would have been 10 times more awesome!! I have played the game with the restoration mods and it is even better, and I would have loved to play the game as Obsidian had planed it to be. Yes, they did a great job... but shame on Lucas Arts for putting so much pressure on them!!

  • @Hamptoncltn I loved Kotor 2, but nothing was more fun than Raven love Bastila story <3 I just loved that

  • @Hamptoncltn true words of wisdom my friend. I agree

  • @Hamptoncltn they should remaster kotor 1 and 2 for the xbox 360

  • @Hamptoncltn its a shame too it really had the potential to be WAY better than KOTOR I but because it was rushed its incomplete. its still a great game but its a mere shadow to what it could have been...

  • @cg123ize Play it on PC, with the Restored Content Mod. Holy shit it makes the game 5 million times better

  • @mysticblade35 i just downloaded it im still a little unsure because i dont think la said its canon and im not a fan of downloading roms, mods, cheats, or anything in that nature

  • @cg123ize It's not really a cheat or anything like that, more like it fleshes out the game a lot more. Obsidian left the cut content on the disc because the game was way too rushed, so they just figured it could be a gift to the fans.

  • @mysticblade35 tru and its technically not illegal since you still have to own the game and Lucas Arts supports it from what I heard dont know what Obsidian thinks I already downloaded though

  • @Hamptoncltn none of that is true. the upgrades in terms of crafting and combat was pretty cool. story was good but the unfinished lame ass ending and unfinished HK factory makes it an average game. obsidian dropped the ball. Bio-ware all day, Kotor one of the best of all time, and TOR is gonna be the greatest game ever made

  • @punisher8080 You're talking as if I hate Bioware, Kotor, and TOR. Let's get something straight. I love Bioware, I love Kotor, and happy to get TOR. It's better than nothing. But that doesn't mean I will be biased and say Kotor II wasn't good. Believe it or not, it was a great game and Obsidian did a good job. LucasArts did rush them to release it, forcing them to cut out a lot of things. Also, I said it was one of the best, not the best. Do some research before you say none of that is true.

  • @punisher8080 Then perhaps you should buy the pc version and install the TSLRM so you can play a lot of the cut content. Makes the game a lot better. Has the HK factory and the ending is improved quite a bit, i'd say. It adds tons of new dialogue as well. If everyone played that mod then perhaps they'd stop bitching. It's currently at 1.7 but will upgrade to 1.8 eventually. Will hopefully have the droid planet M4.78, or at least be made compatible with the M4.78 mod.

  • @Hamptoncltn

As far as Lucas and his cronies are concerned, almost all of this was retconned anyway.

  • 35 people were scolded by kreia

  • @Odor66 And they definitely need Chris Avellone (from Obsidian) on board.

Oh well, all hypothethetical anyways. If we get another films/series by Lucas it'll probably be the usual for the last couple of decades: Shallow, simple, dumbed down.

If any film based on a game would be greenlighted it would probably be the ridiculous mess of a generic filler-plot that TFU is. As far as I know that's the only game where Lucas himself got involved. *shudders*

  • If anyone knows anything about hp touchsmart pc's and getting this game to work on it then let me know. I'm well aware that this is not a great gaming computer but I'm trying to find options before I return the game. Thanks to anyone who helps.

  • Beautiful song... beautiful game... so many things left unanswered... One of my favorite stories of all time, not just by game standards, but of anything. Told so well, with realistic characters and deep plot lines. Masterpiece by all means.

  • How many people agree with me that SWKotOR 1 had the best story but SWKotOR 2 had the best music?

  • @MrQueenBetch I agree, but i dont think kotor 1 music was bad by any means either

  • I think star wars movies about the mandalorian wars would be awesome.. this game would follow that nicely .. so long as a star wars fan directs it and doesn't let george lucas anywhere near it

  • Man brings back memories from 2007-2008

The Day I first played Kotor 1

The Day I first played Kotor 2

The Day I beat Kotor 1, and found all the Star Maps.

The Day I beat Kotor 2, which took forever.

And of course the Day I first heard this song.

  • thumbs up if kreia is your favorite starwar character

  • @Nimzelz My favourites are the Exile, Revan and Atton! X3

  • This song makes me want to cry. So much nestolgia.

  • 0:27

  • whenever i think of Kotor 2, This is the exact track that comes to mind. I feel this particular track captures the entire essence of the plot.

  • captain pickard made 33 youtube accounts

  • 34 people got killed on peragus

  • @pokercards101 lol hahahah

  • It gives me the shivers love it

  • The best/finest/epicest piece of music in the kotor games?

  • This is one of the best games ever, even though it is unfinished it still is way ahead of the 1st one

  • 34 people failed padawan training.

  • Griskey really knew what he was doing when he composed this piece. The sadness of the death of the jedi, the impending doom of the force... This also plays in the LS ending, as the Exile goes to join Revan in the war against the sith.

  • Mark Griskey. This name should be posted more often.

  • Being a die hard star wars fan, i think i stand for everyone when I say lucasfilm should make movies out of these games

  • @SuperCrazyPivot yes yes yes

    lots of money there

  • @SuperCrazyPivot Best idea I've heard yet! I could really get into more movies!

  • @SuperCrazyPivot These two actually have a lot of potential, but if Lucas even touched them they'd suck. You need a different director, and the style would have to differ incredibly from the other films.

  • @gatchAttk You're so very right...Lucas would destroy them...For me, Kotor 1 & 2 stories are as good or perhaps better than movies. Exar Kun war, Mandalorian Wars, Jedi Civil War,...Star Forge...Malachor V, Dxun...Absolutely great characters: Revan, Kreia, Bastilla, and of course HK-47...Not to mention Kotor 3, which would probably be even better than the first two...Some EU writers are very talented...

  • @gatchAttk Too true. Lucas would probably replace half the characters with CGI abominations and get the stiffest actors you ever saw.

  • really SWTOR Isnt kotor3 it is kotor4 since it is after the main 3

  • should have made it longer

  • This song is so peaceful, but that peace is interrupted when Kreia starts talking crap -_- lol

  • The best soundtrack of KotOR II. What a great one.

  • 0:28 to 0:33 is the Danny Elfman Spiderman theme

  • "The years have not been kind to us both, it seems... but perhaps, now, they will see the truth at last."

  • Am i the only one that thinks KOTOR 1 & 2 should be made into the next star wars films?

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 for real two awsome story's should be on the big screen

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 no you arent, im one who also thinks they should be made into films

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 No. It totally should.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 No... I agree with you :)

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 So true!! Le'ts hope George Lucas doesn't fuck these up if he makes them..

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 Absolutely! The storyline is fantastic, and the best part is it's so removed from the existing timeline that it wouldn't diminish the legacy of the original films.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 I totally agree. THe only reason it won't happen is because of all the people who SAY it won't happen, and say stuff like, "It will never work and it will only suck."

But if they made the movie, it would be epic, but then those people would be too stubborn to admit being wrong and will give it a bad review. -.-

It would be a great movie though. These are the only games I've ever played where I got attached to a character or two.

  • @Masterarrowz90 I'm not saying that it wouldn't work, I just think that it would be very hard. Almost all of your party members go through deep character development throughout the game as they reveal their past to you, there are about 6 or so different worlds/places that you visit, the game can take about 48 hours to play through completely if you know what you're doing, etc. All of this needs to be put into, at most, a 3 hour movie. Can you even imagine how much they would need to cut out?

  • @NostalgicSince2005 which is why I think they should split each game into 2 movies. But that would make it even more difficult to make into a movie. So Idk.

  • @Masterarrowz90 That would cost a ton of extra money just for two movies that are practically identical to each other except for near the end of them (find the Star Forge through the maps found on different planets). Besides, when you go to see a movie, you'd like to have some sort of continuity in order to enjoy it (that's my opinion, anyway). In KOTOR l, you can end it as either a male or female and lightside or darkside. I can't even imagine KOTOR ll where Revan AND the Exile are included.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8

    FUCK. YES.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRevan11

    yeah

    i do wish

is there a problem here sir

  • @BlockisticStudios No well....actually I probably should have thought about that last comment I posted more. Thinking on the subject more I'm kinda torn. I do want a Kotor movie but I don't cause they (Lucasfilm) might stuff it up so I'll remove my comment

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8

No sir, i have been thinking about that ever since i played those games.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 Actually theres a novel coming out that details the life of Revan and lucasarts says if the novel does well they would think about it.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 no your not

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 no i think that should happen to

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 i wanna see it get made into a 2 season tv show(with real people). that would be awesome

  • Why this track is so short =(

  • @Kosdumbox The Best tracks are always the short ones :<!

  • @Kosdumbox it repeats in the game

  • wow this music has so much emotion, nostalgia and a bit of melancholy in it; what an overwhelming combination. Does anyone know any music similar to this?

  • This music choked me up. It's got this feeling to it, I can't describe, something about seeing the old academy (I had already played the first one like 4 times) all broken and covered in grass. And having kreia come to stop the jedi council killing you. Than after Malachor. It just really fit the mood, and it made me teary, I will admit..

  • One of the rare occasions when I felt guilty while playing a PC game. The moment when Kreia appeared and killed the rest of the Jedi council. My only thought was - You Kreia are gonna regret that a lot. It was such a good feeling to leave her dying on Malachor V :D

  • "I'm the last one of this lost legacy and remain all alone now... but still seeking for Hope even if it means death"

Exile standing alone and ready to face the Council in Jedi Enclave, once more...

  • This song makes me think of funerals for lost jedi' and the sad civilians weeping for the lost brave soldiers who died saving them. Lost was their hope and their shield...

  • This song makes me so sad.

  • i always thought kotor 1 had a good storyline, and then i played KOTOR... i mean IMO, KOTOR has the best storyline of any game i have played out there... oblivion and everything else... i mean its just so mysterious as to the real reason youwere exiled, and then how Traya used you and everything else that took up time to get to the Rebuilt Jedi Enclave... that and finding those hidden messages from bastilla on korriban and on T3 about revan... and Carth is an admiral if you play on the dark side

  • @maniacgamer9 actually for carth to be the admiral you have to say revan was a man and he saved the republic to atton when you find him in the holding cell

  • @Joelseph5845 Ah, thanks for that. I always just thought you had to be on the dark side. Maybe you have to say that and be on the dark side... because I've said that option and when I'm onthe light side it's just a normal admiral on the display message in the briefing room. Been a while since I've played though, so that kind of makes me want to go play again. I was suprised when Carth showed up at the end after you blow up the Ravager and asked you about Revan. Then Bastila came. 0.o.

  • @maniacgamer9 yeah i just recently started playing it again and found that out

  • They need to remake the full version of this

it is sad that it was incomplete

i had alot of fun playing it anyways

they should put the finished version out there

  • @joshlundy78 pssst....there is...its on teh knightsoftheoldrepublic filefront website, as a mod for teh pc version, im playing it now and beleve me its worth the investemnt in time,

  • one of the greatest games ever dude

    so epic

  • That's the soundtrack wich should be played while I look out of my window thinking to that damn MMO.

  • Kotor 2 was great for music but it's story just missed out on certain things but it was still undeniably the greatest RPG ever along with kotor 1 of cause

  • @wilkinson8707 That's cause they didn't make the deadline - which is a shame, of course.

  • Damn you MMO......

  • 31 dislikes ARE YOU DEAF!?

  • @mastersina123 Maybe they feel it's too twee for them. Which is a possibility. I love the theme, but I can feel the issue a bit. there's something about the theme you can learn to hate. Just like the Jedi, really.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • I was always saddend since I played always as the light side, to see the jedi die, alot more emotional than the first one, but kotor 2 just seemed incomplete, not in the ending but just by the little things during the game that probably shouldnt of happened based on the actions you took still very good though

  • @RevBillyRayCollins because it WAS incomplete.u can download many restored things for the game.planets, quests etc.the relase date made them to finish it faster.what a shame

  • its so peaceful

  • Kreia....best character ever

  • MMO is an ok idea, but nothing compares to the length, detail, and storyline put into Kotor 1 + 2.

Simply amazing 10/10 games that I still to this day think are the two best RPGs out there for storyline.

2 was better for storyline though IMO while 1 is still an amazing game without comparison.

  • This track was beautiful. Really sums up the mastery of KOTOR2, a hugely underrated game. I am one of the few who preferred 2 over 1.

Why make an MMO??? Guh give me KOTOR3.

  • is too sad that there is not kotor 3 bcause is better be the character in the story than just hear the tale in other game

  • Mass Effect 1 and 2 vs Kotor 1 and 2

    OH MY GOD

    I CANT FKIN CHOOSE!!

  • @SuperBundi123 i'd say kotor ,becuz it simply is starwars at that

  • omg its beautifull.

When i first heard with the cliffhanger of the game, i was shocked!

  • Its not lucasarts fault that kotor 3 was cancelled.... There was a team working on it and if I remeber they cancelled it to work on this lord of the rings game that has tech from swbf2. Screw that I wanted kotor 3......

  • @jediguardian1 If you're talking about the LotR game I'm thinking of, then your information doesn't make any sense. That game was developed by Pandemic (R.I.P. :'[) and Pandemic has never had a hand in RPG's.

What LucasArts needs to do is hire Obsidian and have them remake KOTOR 2 so it actually has a frakking ending.

  • Listening to this, makes you think, that we have to play a video game, to escape the boredom and greyness in our world

  • We don't have anything to answer for and we don't have anything to care for. If we were to continue to see the truth in that, than the problems we face today we become less apparent. Life is not about being aware, but the hope that we can hold on to. The Jedi walk a path many follow, but many do not follow through. And in the eyes that dwell around us, they see nothing. And therefore they are nothing. This should be in KOTOR.

  • @chandlerdowning Lol thats so nerdy, but true

  • I think that Revan returned to destroy the Sith Empire in the outer rim and maybe he failed at this task or maybe even became the next Sith Emperor...who knows

  • @MetusSatan According to the new trailer for SWTOR released at PAX Prime, we're going to find out what happened to Revan after he went off into deep space.

Also, HK-47 is back! (He made an appearance in the trailer.)

  • @DigitalOberon Positive reasurance: yes master i believe i am back to star in the new star wars game.

  • Kotor 3 was canceled long ago now...What happened with Revan or the Exile we shall never know, and I guess that's how it should be...

  • @MetusSatan well i could tell u an amusing sroty of what i think happens

  • @JK182ify speak your mind and be creative :D

  • @MetusSatan well for the game thats going to come out , there is a alot of trailers ( to keep ppl happy ) and one of them states that revan and malak where turned evil in the mandalorian wars , by a sith emperor , after redeeming him self by killing malak , revan went back to deep space (where the mandalorian wars were) to find the sith emperor , no one knows what happened after that

    :D and thats it

  • @JK182ify and the sith lord is quite posibbly kreia

  • @JK182ify That much I had known from wookieepedia . and now the debates :P

It is not a way of a Jedi to redeem her/him self by killing,Revan was never really a Jedi nor a Sith,he was something more than both, more than everyone and the only one close to him was the exile.

He went to outer space and that's not where the mandalorian wars were, the wars were in the inner rim.

The Sith Emperor could not be Darth Traya for he was an EMPEROR not an Empress and he never prob. left the outer rim.

  • when i think how good kotor II was, i cant imagine how awesome kotor III would be, it is possible that it could be worser, but i wanna believe different

  • This song, is like relaxing. How did you get the sound not scratchy. I play this game. Its amazingly fun!

  • I wonder why they wont expand a so well written franchise as this anymore, i mean... sure thery're making The Old Republic but... nobody asked for a MMORPG, right?

We want to know what became of Revan, Bastilla and The Exile. And while they're at it, why not also make a prequel revealing the true events of the mandalorian wars, or the Exar Kun-Wars for example?

There's so much clay to play around with, why not put it to use?

Obsidian or Bioware, I don't care just make it happen.

  • @h3isfun i think that t´he old republic is just a kinda spin-off and i`m sure they`r gonna make a kotor 3 but im not sure about a prequel but it would be cool

  • This game was really good. Its a little outdated now I think but still a great game. One of the best. I would say it had one of the worst combat game play, but the interaction with numerous characters, emotion, best story line I have ever played and fantastic music totally overweighed that. I personally prefer these sort of games where they focus mainly on a strong story line between numerous characters. :).
