1:46 I don't know if you've changed this Heir, but Anit-Aliasing is supposed to "smooth out the jagged edges" that computers with lower quality graphics have. You really don't need it with your graphics card and it does slow down the game so you might want to change it.

@StlyeFree Anti-aliasing does smooth out the edges you see in games by equalizing the color of the pixels on the edges so human eye can no longer see the line clearly thus making curves less edgy but it doesn't only happen on lower quality graphics, it's the nature of pixels: they tend to be edgy, no matter how high your graphics are. ^_^

If your card can handle it, use it.

its edge softening...since monitors work with pixels slanted edges look like stairs so theyre softened down by anti aliasing.

high AA numbers ( *8 or *16) use lots of recources though...looks better if your pc is good enough to handle it

MsAA is multisampling , supersampling may be better , but msaa runs smoother , especially on ATI cards , you should turn HDR and ambient occlusion on, too.
