When you say "top a" do you mean A4 because you were playing I believe an octave higher. I'm kinda new to this and I'm like a soprano so a isn't head for me...
@purplefilmer101 If your head voice is connected, you can add more and more chest to it and do crescendo from soft head voice to strong, well resonating mixed chest and head.
hi ian, i have a question about the voice i hear in my head. when i sing, i hear this voice in my head, and it sounds good, but when i hear myself on the recording, i dont sound like the voice in my head. how do i bring out the voice that im hearing in my head? what warmups shouldi be doing to bring this tone out so i can hear it on recordings and live performances as well?
alright man, i can hit those notes in head voice easy. The note is not a problem. it's the sound and power, it sounds very weak. It isn't falsetto i know this for sure. How can i fix a weak head voice? As far as tone and power, not range.
@ChucklingClown well im no expert but when your voice is weak its because your using to much head voice try and mix your chess voice and do some vocal exercises
@THEeeeell lol it wasn't a high note for a trained singer, but this man you can tell he can go super high - he sounds like a mezzo soprano, or a possible opera singer. His vibratto is at perfection & he's able to really bend his voice where ever he wants it, that's the most amazing part....
That was a beautiful A! Full, round, relaxed, and pleasant sounding. Might you have any suggestions or tips for a voice that often gets "trapped" beneath the soft palate? I practice NG scales alot to help me balance my resonances, and it helps, but I have to do this coordination in a long, long warm-up for my voice to comfortably take it without resistance. It seems impossible for my voice to have satisfactory and RELAXED nasal/"masky" resonance in a 15 minute warm-up, but 45 to 60 minutes.
