I love how different TV is nowadays.

Now, most TV programs are captioned, and it's practically taken for granted.

Back then, they specified that their program included captioning, probably trying to look progressive and stuff. Or maybe to make sure you had your decoder turned on. :-P

For some reason, to me, that CC message makes the video seem even more nostalgic than it already is.

Good God I remember this. My sister and I were members of the audience for one of the tapings. I miss the old Disney Channel (when the shows were actually GOOD) and the old Disney-MGM Studios (when it was an honest-to-God working studio, plus theme park)

I love love love this show and can remember skits done by each of these cast mates. Man I wanted to give my left arm for a jacket. I miss the old days. Now that I have kids I watch the Disney Channel with them and some shows aren't too bad, but no where near as awesome as it was when I was growing up.

OMG I used to looooooove the MMC!!! I watched seasons 1 to 3 then my mom got rid of the disney channel dammit! But I agree it was the best time to be a kid. Before MMC, I watched Kids Incorporated! Now these were the 2 most awesome shows to watch if you loved singing and dancing :)

It means that the hearing impaired can read the words on their screen by selecting the "close caption" option on their TV. Shame on whoever gave you a minus. I'll bring that back up to 0.
