  • thumbs up if you muted the song

  • The Police were way better than this music, why did you substitute it?!

  • This was great. Please check out a version called American Psycho The Sitcom. It's really entertaining. Any feedback would be appreciated.

  • the movie was kinda confusing..he never killed anyone or what?

  • @AMAURIS966 that is deliberately left open for debate. you watch the movie, and draw your own conclusions on wether the events took place or were merely Bateman's imagination.

  • i have to return some videotapes

  • Good job.

  • Hahahahaha the song changing made me laugh so much. Such a shit song.

  • Mr Patrick Batman.

  • You should've kept the Police track and not have used this crap.

  • Dont just stare at it, eat it!

  • play this song to listen to it

  • AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH POLICIA?! :(

  • @CaramelCamel : why not?? this sound suits perfect ^^

  • never mind I found it in the description

  • I LOVE AP MUSIC VIDS THIS IS BAD ASS!

  • very disturbing and sick movie

  • A very FUNNY, disturbing and sick movie. Pfft.

  • very disturbing and sick. i agree... but brilliant as well.

  • @007ovensmasher

I agree, I think the intentions of American Psycho 2 were good and the idea was brilliant. I mean college students are filled with jealousy, ambition, and vanity and the entire plotline had potential. However, it turned out awful.

  • Well, I can still mute the sound to this video and play my own "Don't Stand So Close to Me" on my mp3 player... :(

  • People don't seem to understand that the violence is secondary to what the film (and the book) is really about.

  • spoiler alert but i guess you all saw the movie

well i did not get the ending of the movie at all did he killed anyone or did he just imagined it and draw all he did in his book ????

  • That is open to interpretation.

  • @MrPooding

That's kind of open to interpretation.

  • well i thought he did it up untill the lawyer guy said he had dinner with the person he saw himself killing.

if the guy is right that he dinner he couldnt of killed him and must of been in his head.

but that lawyer is also same guy who calls him somthing else so mabye hes crap with names?

  • @AbraaCadaver That bothers me a lot as well. It's one of my favourite books, and that's not because of the violence.

  • let's not say something we can't take back now

  • maybe, but Keaton would have looked like a fag as Bateman. Who else besides Christian Bale could have pulled this role off?

  • @YoureRacist Tom Cruise? ;P

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • He says hey paul the last time but wut evs. Still the best scene in the movie. Hip to be square hahaha

  • once again Mr. Bale plays a smooth stylish business man with a darker secret identity :p

  • yes.. you can see he reuses some of the same techniques he innovated for his bateman portrayal when he plays bruce wayne. i find it hilarious how similar bateman and batman are. even their names.

you would probably have a good eye for casting, as no doubt this was a casting director's thought process at some point.

  • to be honest, I wasn't too big of a fan of his Bruce Wayne in the Dark Knight. I liked him more in Begins. Idk maybe it's because I'm a huge Batman fanatic, and I felt like the Dark Knight didn't really do his legacy justice. Anyway, hilarious video! AP is one of my favorite movies ever.

  • @TheEvilEye13 And his name is Bateman, take out the E and what do you get :)

  • @TheEvilEye13

    Bateman= Batman

    dadaduum...

  • @TheEvilEye13 i love the bat(e)man , they're so fucking similar and yet so different

  • HEY PAUL

  • fuck

  • psycho movie!

  • sweet

  • haha awesome video :)

  • bad trolling is bad

  • LOL, you're just an ignorant prick, no better than an average American.

Although the ratio of idiots and people with decent intelligence is off the scale of balance, there are decent people here.

You're just a fucking prick. Just go kill yourself.

  • are you serious?

  • LOL More idiots generalizing a population consisting of over three hundred million people. How intelligent.

  • OOH Sweetie you can hate me now,you still live with your parents they will put a demand on me if i touch you honey

  • its so funny how people try to badmouth america, yet they want to come to america for a better life

  • its third world country people and mexican wetbacks who go to live in usa, trying to make a living, but personally,i dont blame them they die of hungry everyday, you live at moms home you dont have anything to say

  • ok ur probabily a 40 year old man who sleeps with a blow up doll in ur one bedroom apartment cuz thats the only action youll get ur whole life cuz all u do is pick fights with people over the internet

  • Redo this with a video having more clarity and you've peaked at awesome !

Great choice of song, I always fond the opening chilly.

  • I kinda like it! Has that "80's video vibe" to it.

  • I always thought the beginning of this song was very menacing; great use for a great movie.

  • I love this movie Christian Bale is such a great actor

  • god i love this movie

  • Genial, weiter so

  • That's a great song to use for an AP fanvid. Nice work!

  • LOL

  • Then the "Vampire's kiss" with Nick Cage and Maria Conchita Alonso is a must for you. I strongly recommend ;))STRONGLY!!

  • That was hilarious and so 80's, great job 5/5.

  • good song,good movie(actually wickedly good movie..lol)...excellent clip!

  • If you all have ever heard anything from Bret Easton Ellis or from the director of the movie you would know that in both versions the killings are actually real. Its supposed to be a commentary on how infatuated people were with themselves that they wouldn't even notice a serial killer. It was never supposed to be questionable if the killings were real or imagined.

  • i said the same thing a few weeks ago. people just dont research their facts.

  • Well its hard to be intelligent in this world when people only see or read what they want to newflea

  • This is quite keen and gives me an idea for another one you could do with an '80s song -- Cheap Trick's 'Reach Out'. That would go especially well with the chainsaw scene. XD

  • great editing!

  • Bateman didnt kill anyone, if you read the book then you will think he did, but things in this movie show the opposite, the chinese laundry place for instance, they wont wash his sheets because they are clean, he is the only person seeing blood, and the fantasy book the secretary reads near the end, its all the events in order that take place in the film, it shows that its all in his head, plus the way he listens to music and just shuts off, hes a dreamer, but a psychotic 1 none the less!

  • yes but i think you`re overeacting, i´ts just fun, that´s it. people don´t care about the meaning of the story.

i think is not that serious, if you love saving the world filosophy, just write your own book.. and relax .... XDXDXDXD

  • i agree it is just fun, but if people didnt care about the meaning of the story at all then they would watch a film like "airheads" and movie discussions wouldn't exist, some people do care about thinking about things differently, even if you dont feel the need to, and i am relaxed ; ) lol : D p.s i never comment on anything on youtube, its funny the moment i do someone tells me to chill, its probably my lack of commenting, makes me write huge long posts like these...hmmm *gets head checked* ; )

  • I KILLED A LOT OF PEOPLE!

  • Dude I agree with you what you said was true

  • but the girl he ran into saw the red stains

  • No she didn't. She said something like, "It doesn't look like cranberry juice", but she didn't necessarily see blood.

  • That's a bold statement. I guess you didn't understand the purpose of the doppelganger effect in the movie. Paul Allen thought he was having dinner with Mark Alberstram when it was really Patrick Bateman. Bateman's supposed lawyer could just as easily have been mistaken, even though he claims that he thought he was having dinner with Paul Allen. You're not wrong and I'm not right though...it just means the movie and book are both equally ambiguous. We're not meant to know.

  • Totally wrong, bateman did it. The chick saw the stains on the sheets. The fantasy book proves nothing. The apartment was cleaned by the owners who didnt want to end up unable to sell a multimillion dollar apartment and probably every apartment in the building. There were also many cases of mistaken identity. There were some elements of sureal experience but i don't by the 'it was all just a dream' cop out, that would make the movie suck.

  • You are possibly wrong, but it doesn't matter because I cannot take a damned thing you wrote seriously since you spelled "surreal" incorrect.

  • No. It's pretty obvious that it's all in his head.

    Bateman is insane.

  • I think this is true. And I actually think that it is most evident when he says things like 'if you don't shut your fucking mouth I will kill you' and receives absolutely no reaction for it. I mean, that's not a threat you just brush aside, is it? Especially from a gentleman who dresses, speaks, and acts as he does. Not to mention ... there is no way Bateman would have gotten out of the situation with the helicopter and the cops chasing him down. He wouldn't have spoken to his lawyer afterwards.

  • (continued) . theres no plot to anybodys life. its just a random series of events. no catharsis. no meaning. especially to those who are too self absorbed to hear when somebody wants to play around in their blood hahaha. so dont think about the truth or reality. realize that the reality is what anyone makes it to be. bateman's reality is an upperclass yupi/cereal killer/coke head. your own reality is what you choose it to be.

  • cereal killer? that sounds delicious. I couldn't resist..good post nonetheless

  • Theres like a hundred videos of this movie on youtube and each one sparks a similar conversation topic. It not about the plot or whats reality and whats fiction. you have to read the book to fully appreciate what im saying. it just a ridiculous story and thats the point. every action is mind blowing and thats what brett easton ellis attempts to convey. not a mysterious plot but no plot at all. he simply captures 1980's NYC as it truely was. rediculous. (continued above).

  • GREAT!!!!!

    FANTASTIC VIDEO!!!!!

  • what about allens apartment at the end and the real estate agent she seemed to know something about pat.

  • If you agree with Nuef I suggest you rewatch the movie.

Pay attention to Bale's tone of voice when hes talking to people. Youll notice all the sociopathic things are said in a SPECIFIC voice tone and everytime he uses that tone the other person never responds to him. In reality hes sitting there quietly but his mind is saying all of those awful things.

  • u maybe right i was going by the film directors commentary. the book maybe be different. however all the ceos keep getting each others names wrong, accept Bateman. His lawyer could have very well could mistake someone else for ALLEN

  • he does kill everyone but everyone around him is too consumed with there own lives that they dont listen or care or mishear him. the irony is that Bateman wants to get caught but he cant no matter what he does at the end. the killings oringinally had fullfilled him better then anything else ...sex drugs etc, but he has no boundries left and no new knowledge about himself."My confession has meant nothing"

  • And the award goes to, Neuflea84.

  • technically, DigitalJinxter if he imagined everything in his head, He IS a psycho.

  • movie looks sick im gonna go watch it on watch-movies now brah

  • the nailgun is awsomme^^. and the part where he chops away at that guyxD. hes like the steriotype of a psycko lol

  • But he's not a Psycho. Did you understand the movie? Everything he does is all in his mind.

  • Did YOU understand the movie? It was intentionally ambiguous.

  • yeah in the end the viewer is left completely unsure of what was real and what wasn't

  • It wasnt all in his mind. The author of the book has confirmed that all of what went down in the movie happened.

  • nooooo why batman why?????

  • stfu.

  • batman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • not good

  • is this based on real story?

  • It's loosely based on my life.

  • hahahahahahaha

  • yes

  • naaaaaaailllllll guuuun!

  • Wtf what that subliminal message at the begining? It stunned my head for five seconds.

  • It was the scene where he smashes the axe into pauls head.

  • I love this movie!! bale is such an incredible actor, probably nobody else would have made it better than him!

  • at the end of the film it leaves us thinking is it all in his head or did he kill people

  • Is that Christian Bale

  • mhm.

  • Christian Bale. A top notch actor and artist, and I believe this to be his best role. Don't get me wrong, he has a poetic subtlety as Bruce Wayne in the Batman movies, but I think here, his devilish charm as Patrick Bateman is what drives this movie to really be something special. With this role, Bale was unafraid to make us hate him, which I think is a very interesting approach to a lead role.

Bale is a very gifted actor. :)

  • ^

gay comment. suck his dick already

  • I still loved him in American Psycho.

    Loved him in Batman.

    Loved him in The Machinist.

Sort of hated him a little in The Prestige, but then loved him again by the end.

Even in roles where he's a tool, he's Christian Bale and I can't fucking hate him.

  • Right on, Samurai. American Psycho is a classic--because of Christian Bale. And, he's by far the best BATMAN, hands down (though Michael K. gave it a great start). I agree with your take on him in The Prestige -- he kind of sneaks up on you, huh? ( especially when he looks dead into the camera and says "abra cadabra" ). Almost forgot, back to American Psycho -- he's also got a better than average aim with a saw ! HAAAA !

  • My friend said he hated him once and the next morning when he woke up all his lights where trashed.

  • @SamuraiSquash enjoyed him in every movie so far exept for Terminator 4......

  • @Horrortunes whats wrong with Terminator 4???

  • @SamuraiSquash dont forget 310 to Yuma. He was awesome in that movie!

  • @SamuraiSquash Loved him in Equilibrium!

  • @SamuraiSquash he was awesum in 3:10 to yuma

  • @SamuraiSquash Don't forgot Shaft.

  • @SamuraiSquash What about Empire of the Sun? That was epic and he was a child,.

  • lol, hes soooo loopy its unreal

  • super unappropriate music for this movie. lol

  • You guys are all wrong, he doesn't kill anyone, no one dies, and Bateman is just fucking crazy.

  • Eh.

  • yes he did

  • does that matter? it's fiction anyways, jackass.

  • its both. hes just fucking crazy, and he DOES kill people...probably as a direct result of him being so fucking crazy ;)

  • This is great, mate, this is fucking great!!!

  • same thing happens in the book. Book is much more vulgar and i wish they'd made the film the same as the book. NC-17 would be a must!

  • I haven't seen the movie yet, what sets him off? Does he shoot that chick in back of the head?

    What happens to Reese Witherspoon?

  • I really suggest you read the book too if you're as interested in AP as you seem to be :) it's pretty sick but nonetheless a classic! The movie adaption couldve been a lot worse too so theres no way im gonna complain...

  • it's not "spin a menorah" its "spin a dreidel"

  • feed me a straw cat!

  • Awesome movie, and song, the Police are my favorite group. Nice symmetry with the music and video. Christain Bale is the man.

  • i like the laugh before it hits her

  • richard cheese did the remix

  • Who did the down with the sickness remix? I saw his myspace once but don't remember who it was.

  • great job!

  • parkerPosee - It's a commentary on the shallowness of the corporate culture. No one is even sure if these people are alive or dead. Bateman and co. are too self absorbed to notice if the others disappear. I interpret it that either Bateman has never actually killed anyone, and it's all in his head, or that he is in fact a killer, but no one in his superficial world notices.

  • He didn't kill anyone except for the first guy in his apartment. His lawyer covered up for him by saying he had lunch with dude in Europe.

  • How old are you? Because that was a stupid comment. He didn't kill anyone (fine up to this point) EXCEPT for the firt guy (comment becomes stupid). whatch the film again, his lawyer wasn't covering anything up.
