Wow....M2TW is one of my favorite games and I've never heard this song before. Truly a beautiful song and really asks the question "why?" If the gospel means "the good news" and it's message a forgiving God who sends us out to tell others about Him regardless of the afflictions we'd face, then why do so many instead pick up the sword (quite literally)?

The lyrics are perfect for Medieval 2, because when you are playing the campaign you are experiencing being the leader of a nation during total war; being greedy in that you want to conquer new lands, being selfish in that you are responsible for thousands even millions of lives being lost by the end of the campaign and you care nothing for them and being bloodthirsty in that you wish to crush and defeat your enemy entirely.

This song is the complete antithesis to the goals of the actual game.

I play M2TW and this is the 1st time I've heard the words to this song. Interesting. I love Angela's haunting voice. And, I like the straight instrumental version. The Van Dyck's are very creative. It's a shame they don't do more . RTW wouldn't be nearly as much fun without their contribution to the atmosphere of the play. Their stuff really inhances the ambiance when you're playing these games.

@xXBerethorXx AI never simulated human intellegence in any game so far. All the hate towards total war's AI is pointless "UH. AI sucks in total war" No shit! There has never been a game with a proper challenging AI. Especially not a strategy game. And no, shogun 2 ai won't be close to human intelligence. Why ? Because it requires a bit more computer power to reach such a state.
