That's complete bullshit for the fact that Meredith Hunter was running toward the stage, with a gun, ready to use it! It's easy to use the Hells Angels as "cop out" on Meredith Hunter's part, because of the Angels reputation, but, a careful viewing of the actual film will show that Meredith Hunter was guilty with the full intent to use LETHAL FORCE.

Check out "In Defense Of The Hells Angels - Rolling Stones Altamont" and don't fall for the "race card" bullshit that some people try to use.

no...the video show that Meredith Hunter (1 of the 4 people murdered at the Altamont fest) had a gun...is not clear if he pulled it out for self defense and seems like not a single bullet has been shot.

We had a Hells angel gang in our town once.. there was about 14/15 of them.. The fat one was the only one with a motorcycle. a honda 200cc with a bathtub sidecar..! Three would jump on the back of the bike, and the rest all crambed into the bathtub sidecar.. and they would spend the afternoon going around in circles..!!!

I guess Sonny Barger and the gang blamed Mick for Altamont. I don't condone the hiring of the Hell's Angels (they were paid in beer, for God's sake!), but I don't think it would have mattered who the security force was, seeing as Meredith Hunter (the kid who was stabbed) shot one of the Hell's Angels in the arm. They didn't have to go after Mick, though!

Alan Passaro killed Hunter, armed with a gun, with a knife.

@VvAnarchangelvV -what the hell are you guys talking about? there was no gun, there was no knife. the guy was drunk out of his mind, he pushed an angel, and, true to form, the angels knocked him down and stomped him to death. that is why they are a gang-an attack on one of the gang is an attack on the gang as a whole. there was no conspiracy there was no agenda. its just the way the angels handle what they perceive as threats, to this day.
