the line "they set the young ones up" refenerenced teen prostitution aka slavery this was 25 years ago MOL; where the those young ones now? dead? murdered OD, AIDS? God help them
at the time there were so many runaways from the midwest it was called the minnisota strip
@badbadkingjohn im not sure you really understand the meaning of "they set the young ones up" no one was after us. i survived those streets and i never got AIDS not alot of hustlers were murdered if any.
I was watching Jackson Brown on PBS Soundstage night and I remembered I always wanted to learn this riff. Your hand positions are just as I remember them. For a few seconds at the beginning, I thought you were playing over the recorded version.
Good work. Heard this song for years and never paid much attention to it but the other day caught it on the radio and immediately wanted to learn the guitar. Great tune.
thanks

good cover, almost in tune. That pick click would drive an engineer crazy and cover up the drums. And just one word... finesse...

Great tune. I appreciate your efforts. I transposed this tune to a "G" for Dobro and it sounds great. Thanks.
