The best anime ever made. Nothing from today comes close to comparing. How I miss those days. We had Dangaio, Gunbuster, Bubblegum Crisis (the original!) Hades Project: Zeorymer, Detonator Orgun, Tekkaman Blade, Escaflowne....they just don't make them like they used to.
@Afrocanuk I beg to differ. On it's own merit, it's not bad, but it doesn't stand up to the original, which IMO is one of the best Anime ever made (ranks just below Dangaio and on par with Escaflowne, Macross, Rouroni Kenshin, Iczer-1 etc). The sheer emotion displayed in episodes 5 (Moonlight Rambler) and Episode 6 (Red Eyes) has yet to be surpassed by ANY anime I have ever seen (including the ridiculously over-hyped Neon Genesis Evangelion)

@FURognar Actually, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 is not bad either.
