The Jackson's left Motown and signed with CBS so they started writing. Randy is obviously the reason why the group became popular again and more funkier.

No. He had a drug problem in 1993, after being accused of peodophilia. His autopsy report clearly shows that he wasn't a drug addict and was, in fact, healthy. His organs were, apparently, in very good conditions and showed (quoting now from the autopsy report) "no continuous use of drugs / an addiction". Michael used drugs, but that doesn't mean he was a drug addict, get it? I use drugs some days before an exame so that I'm calm. That doesn't mean I'm addicted to them.

No. An addiction, usually builds over a period of 6 weeks. Look at the anti-depressants' example. If you take more than what the doctor prescribed, during that period, you'll become addicted easily. Usually, a painkillers' addiction develops over the period of 6-8 weeks of severe abuse which was, in fact, Jackson's case, IN '93. Furthermore, a painkiller addiction will deteriorate one's liver severily. Had Michael been abusing painkillers for 9 years, his liver would be in bad conditions.

Rodney even said in this interview that the first song he received from MJ was "Rhythm Nation" which inspired him a lot. I remember reading that he would listen to that album all the time. I'm not saying Quincy is the reason why MJ was successful but Off the Wall was basically another Quincy album if you're aware of Quincy's previous productions you would know what I mean

I prefer some of michael's style, but i can still give credit to janet for what she does and what she has done. I dont get why you cant do the same. the proof of what he has done is so evident

Janet said all her brothers are influences. Not just MJ don't get it twisted. If anything I think Randy Jackson is her biggest influence.
I just don't think MJ's music is as innovative as people claim it to be. Janet experimented with many sounds and sung on topics no one even dared to sing about.

Janet never said that. I've heard her say that all her brothers are her biggest influence not just MJ. I think you're just so stuck on MJ being the one that you fail to see how inspiring her other brothers were to her. and I know you're quoting her Grammy Legend award comment. She said that because it was directed to one particular brother but she said all her brothers influenced her at the BMI awards.

Michael Jackson was an innovative revolutionary artist who created an art form, broke down racial barriers, and achieveed things that no one before or since him has. yes he did write, but his stuff wasnt taken seriously by the motown producers, it wasnt published or made into song. And yeah Randy may be a good writer, but that doesnt discredit mj from being a good one either.

MJ wrote "Blues away" which isn't nearly as good as "One more Chance"

Randy's version of "One More Chance" was better than MJ's and Janets,and J5's, even though Janets was a cover.But Blues away is a completely different song. You cant start comparing on song to song basis, or you will be here all day

Personally I never really cared for MJ's version of One More Chance (written by R. Kelly). Its one of his few snongs I dont like. The JAcksons version is much better. Just dont care to hear Randy singing it.

Motown didnt allow their artists any creative control so he couldnt wite. That was one of the whole reasons they went with CBS in the first place. RAndy was a good writer. He and Mike wrote many of their memorable CBS songs. I think you dislike MJ so you discredit him at everything. Your dislike aside, still doesnt change history and FACTS

The Jackson's left Motown and signed with CBS so they started writing. Randy is obviously the reason why the group became popular again and more funkier.

he does have good writing skills, and so do Janet and MJ. MJ isnt the only one with talent, or janet. But MJ made classics, just like janet, and randy should of gotten a lot of credit, but they all accomplished a lot. and mj and janet SOLO both influenced music heavily, and neither one's abilities should be belittled.
