Excellent job. I've heard MANY Cannon versions, not a Jay Z mix over it, and I've been in music for 20 years now. I play guitar, so it's EASY for me to just lay down the rhythm/progression behind me and just play scales over it, but this is artistry, mine is improv, original to some degree, as I choose HOW to play the scales, and what keys and relatives of them etc, but this is hardcore work. GOOD JOB!

This is truly inspirational. It's funny how I came across this at this time because I was actually thinking about how great it would be to somehow bring this piece in coherence with a 2Pac track, but Jay Z works out just fine.
