this one is in drop C, way better. Plus they changed guitarist, no shit it sounds different. So this one is way more heavier, still its only emocore..... I think its good ^^

@BEWBxFinnboii I dunno if "the first" is what they used in the music video, but I disagree. The pinch harmonics and overall tone of the guitar is a little too grainy for my taste. Might have something to do with different pickups, amps, or both.

Andy`s screaming definetely improved from the old version but the clean vocals in this one seems overly edited. The guitar solo at 3:0 something doesn't really tie into that part....

the only ep i prefer is we stitch these wounds, i think the solo in this really made it better. and andy's screaming and singing is much better. :) but we stitch these wounds is just way different and i love both versions but i think the ep is just better.

The Gunsling was one of my favorites, and the original WSTW was so much better as is the original K&P and TMD, and I also wanted Hello My Hate and Devil For Me on the album ):

personally i find this version better. hes learned his voice better, so he sounds a lot better, and older. especially his scream, which seems a lot more passionate, making it, in my opinion, heavier. also the base comes through way better in this version, the drumming has a much more impressive tempo, and the solo just makes a complete metal song, and rly shows how much the band has improved.

I love Black Veil Brides... But I like the first version of this before it was re-made and put on the album... The first version was more out of control and seemed more wild rather than this version, which seems a little too "clean" and "fixed up" for it to be good rock/screamo. I actually liked the flaws in the other version better. D:

@syke5 I listened to it last night on my ipod and went, What the heck? Well i guess his voice could be different ina year? I was kinda disappointed he sings this one differently now. I mean i can understand the music sounding different cause now theres Sandra,Jinxx,Jake,Ashley....no­t just the people they had when they did Knives and Pens the first time around. Maybe they wanted to give us a different look at it. I like the acoustic version that came on the CD though. :)

Cuz the older Knives and Pens version I downloaden had a crappy quality.. and I couldn't find a better quality =\ But after last night.. I rather listen to the crappy old version than this.. althought the guitar solo is cool (: It has not the ''WOW'' factor.. When the chorus came.. I always get chills or sing with the song.. and now it is way different and does not give me chills anymore.. his voice has really changed! /=
